LEGO Star Wars 75445 Anzellan Starship Building Set with Droid Workshop

For young Star Wars fans aged 9 and over who want more than a ship to display, the LEGO Star Wars 75445 Anzellan Starship turns building into a droid-workshop adventure inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu. The 701-piece set includes Grogu and two Anzellans, plus droid parts and tools for creating repair scenes on board.

Open the starship to reach its main compartment, lift out the workbench for play outside the ship, or lower the ramp for disembarking. These moving features give children plenty of ways to bring their own stories to life after the build is complete.

Key takeaways

This LEGO Star Wars building set combines a detailed starship with a hands-on workshop. The cockpit canopy opens, the roof lifts off and the workbench can be removed, making it easy to shift from building the model to arranging figures and acting out scenes. Grogu and two Anzellans can sit in the cockpit or main compartment, while the workshop has parts and tools for building and repairing a Battle Droid.

There are playful details to discover along the way, including a table where an Anzellan can sit with a cookie. With 701 pieces, the set offers a substantial build before becoming a starship for imaginative play. The finished model measures over 7 cm high, 25 cm long and 14 cm wide.

Best use cases

Choose this set for a child who enjoys both constructing LEGO models and making up stories with familiar Star Wars characters. It suits a play session centred on droid-building: set up the workbench, use the droid parts and tools, then move the figures around the ship or lower the ramp to continue the scene. The removable bench also lets children take the workshop play beyond the starship itself.

If the priority is a model intended mainly for display, a less interactive build may suit that purpose better. The Anzellan Starship is designed to open up and be played with, so it makes sense for children who want accessible spaces and features to use in role-play as well as a finished model to keep.

How to use it

Assemble the 701 pieces to build the starship, then place Grogu and the two Anzellans in the cockpit or main compartment. Open the canopy and lift off the roof to reach inside. In the workshop area, use the droid parts and tools to build or repair the Battle Droid, take out the workbench when you want more room to play. Lower the ramp to create an arrival or departure scene, or set an Anzellan at the table with a cookie.

For a guided building experience, the LEGO Builder app offers 3D instructions that let children zoom in, rotate the model, save sets and track their progress. The set requires assembly and contains small parts, so it is not suitable for children under 3 years old.

Is it worth it?

For children aged 9+ who like Star Wars and enjoy making their builds part of a story, this set brings several kinds of play together: constructing a recognisable starship, placing three figures and creating droid-workshop scenes. Its lift-off roof, opening cockpit, removable workbench and lowering ramp make the interior useful during play, rather than leaving the model as a build-only project. It is a strong fit for young fans who want a LEGO Star Wars set they can build and then keep returning to for new adventures.
