LEGO Harry Potter 76464 Cauldron: Secret Potions Classroom Building Set
Product description
For Harry Potter fans aged 10 and over who want more than a model to leave on display, the LEGO Cauldron: Secret Potions Classroom 76464 brings building and imaginative play together. Move the stirring stick to reveal a hidden classroom inside the cauldron. With Snape and Hermione minifigures, potion-making details and a display-ready design, it offers plenty to explore after the build is complete.
Practical tips
Build the cauldron and classroom, then move the stirring stick to reveal the secret space within. Removable tables make it easier to arrange the classroom for play, while potion bottles and brick-built ingredients provide details to use when imagining a Hogwarts lesson. The set includes ingredients for Wolfsbane, Polyjuice and Love Potions, giving young builders recognisable prompts for creating their own scenes.
The LEGO Builder app offers digital instructions with 3D views that can be zoomed and rotated, as well as tools to save and track building progress. This gives children another way to follow the construction and see how the classroom fits inside the cauldron. Once the play is finished, the closed cauldron works as a Harry Potter display piece for a desk or bedroom.
What stands out
The appeal is in the change from cauldron to classroom: the moving stirring stick turns a decorative model into a play setting, and the removable tables help make that setting accessible. Professor Snape and Hermione Granger each come with a wand accessory, so fans can recreate a potions lesson or make up a new one. Hermione’s Otter Patronus and one collectible Hogwarts portrait add recognisable details for fans who enjoy spotting extras in a build.
This is a more interactive choice than a model intended mainly for static display. Buyers praise the enjoyable build and its appeal to Harry Potter fans, with some particularly appreciating how it brings building, imaginative play and display together. Those qualities make the set suitable for a shared gift occasion as well as an individual building project.
