LEGO Minecraft Chicken Jockey 21582 Building Set, 344 Pieces, 3 Figures

Bring a familiar Minecraft scene to life on a bedroom shelf or desk with the LEGO Minecraft Chicken Jockey building set. Designed for builders aged 9 and up, it turns a recognisable game moment into a hands-on build and a display piece.

The set contains 344 pieces and three figures: a baby zombie, a chicken and a baby chicken. Put the baby zombie on the chicken to recreate the Chicken Jockey, or arrange the characters for your own scenes.

Movable parts add extra ways to play: the chicken’s wings and legs can be repositioned, while the baby zombie has jointed legs, arms and head. That flexibility makes it easy to switch between action play and a pose for display.

Why it’s worth it

This set brings building, imaginative play and gaming-inspired room décor together. Rather than choosing a Minecraft ornament that is only for display, children can assemble the characters, act out the Chicken Jockey scene and then arrange the finished figures on a desk, shelf or bedside table. The three-character line-up also gives them options for making up scenes beyond the familiar ride.

The movable limbs make the figures more engaging to handle and pose. Children can position the chicken’s wings and legs, adjust the baby zombie’s limbs and head, and set the zombie on the chicken to recreate the central scene. It is a practical way to carry a favourite game moment from the screen into hands-on play.

Worth noting

Assembly is required, with 344 pieces in the set. The intended age range is 9 years and up. Its three figures are the baby zombie, chicken and baby chicken, with movable or jointed parts that support different poses. Once the build is complete, the characters can be displayed together as gaming-themed décor.

For digital building support, the LEGO Builder app provides instructions that builders can zoom in on and rotate in 3D, as well as a way to track their progress. This gives children another way to follow the build as they work through the pieces.

Best use cases

Choose it for a child who enjoys Minecraft and wants more than a static ornament: the set offers a build to complete, characters to play with and a finished model to show off. It also suits a shared build, with the familiar figures providing an easy starting point for imaginative storytelling. As a birthday present for a young Minecraft fan, it combines the activity of building with a display piece that can stay part of their room after play.

Questions before you buy

What figures are included? The set has three: a baby zombie, a chicken and a baby chicken. The baby zombie can be placed on the chicken to create the Chicken Jockey.

Which parts can be moved? The chicken has movable wings and legs. The baby zombie has jointed legs, arms and head, so both main figures can be arranged in different poses.

Can children get help with the build? Yes. The LEGO Builder app offers digital instructions with 3D views that can be zoomed and rotated, plus progress tracking.

Is it worth it?

For a Minecraft fan aged 9 or older, this set makes sense when the aim is to combine construction with character play and a finished display model. Its 344 pieces, three recognisable figures and poseable details give the Chicken Jockey scene more than one role: it is something to build, bring into imaginative play and keep on show afterwards.
