Pieviev ZDX04-DM10 Chenille Cat Litter Mat, 36" x 30", TPR Backing

A tidy litter area calls for more than a small landing spot: this 36" x 30" mat gives cats room to step out while creating a broad surface for loose litter. Its gray chenille pile is soft underfoot and designed to catch litter as cats leave the box.

The 12 mm deep fibers help trap clumping, crystal, and pellet litter. A textured TPR backing helps the mat stay in place on tile, hardwood, and laminate floors.

Could a larger, plush surface make the area around the litter box easier to manage? Pieviev also makes the mat easy to shake out or machine wash when it needs a deeper clean.

What you’ll notice day to day

Set the mat beneath the litter box to catch particles carried out on your cat’s paws. The long chenille fibers are designed to hold litter within the pile, giving you a defined collection area instead of relying on a simple, flat surface. That can be useful in a utility room or wherever the litter box is set up, and the generous dimensions offer space around larger litter boxes.

The soft plush texture adds a comfortable step-out surface, while the gray color keeps the mat visually understated in the room. Its textured backing is intended to grip common hard flooring such as tile, hardwood, and laminate, helping the mat remain flat as cats move across it. For households choosing between a compact catcher and a larger mat that covers more of the litter-box exit area, this XL format prioritizes extra coverage.

Worth noting

The chenille pile is 12 mm deep and is designed to collect clumping, crystal, and pellet litter. The mat also captures moisture, with a waterproof TPR backing to help protect the floor beneath it. Use it as a litter-box mat, or place it in a bathroom or shower room where a soft, moisture-catching surface is useful.

Buyers often highlight its litter-catching ability and say it helps keep tracked litter contained. Some also like its appearance and find it simple to shake out. Feedback on washing is mixed: some buyers find it easy to clean, while others report that cleaning takes more effort. The care options include shaking loose litter back into the box and machine washing for a deeper clean.

Cleaning & care

For routine cleanup, fold the mat and gently shake loose litter back into the litter box. When a more thorough wash is needed, the mat is machine washable, the product description also notes that it dries rapidly for next-day use. Following the care instructions for the mat helps keep the chenille pile ready for regular use. A quick shake between washes is a practical way to remove loose particles without putting the mat through a full cleaning each time.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want a soft, large-format mat that gives litter a deeper pile to settle into and adds coverage around the box. Its 36" x 30" footprint, 12 mm chenille fibers, textured TPR backing, and machine-washable design make it a practical fit for cat owners looking to contain litter and moisture on a hard floor. It also suits litter areas where a plush surface and a more discreet gray look matter alongside everyday cleanup.
