Pieviev Cat Litter Mat, 24" x 15" Double-Layer Waterproof Gray

Catch loose litter where your cat steps out of the box with the Pieviev Cat Litter Mat. Its double-layer honeycomb design collects scattered particles in a defined spot, helping keep them from traveling across the floor.

The 24" x 15" gray mat has a waterproof, urineproof bottom layer to help protect hardwood floors and carpets. Its slip-resistant backing helps keep the mat in place during everyday use.

Choose a focused landing area by the litter box rather than spreading mats across a larger part of the room. The Pieviev mat is sized for that targeted setup.

Highlights

The honeycomb top lets loose litter pass through and collect between the layers. When it’s time to tidy up, lift the mat so the particles fall into the lower layer, then tip them back into the litter box. This helps collect litter that would otherwise scatter around the box entrance. The design works with many types of cat litter and with hooded or self-cleaning litter boxes.

The waterproof base helps keep liquid from reaching the floor, while the slip-resistant underside helps the mat stay put. For an everyday spill or a mess on the surface, the mat can be rinsed with a hose. Its washable design also makes it easy to shake out collected litter and refresh the area around the box.

Buyers often praise its ability to catch litter and the ease of cleaning. Feedback is mixed on perceived size and durability, and some buyers mention that the mat does not lie completely flat. Those points can help guide placement: set it directly at the box exit, where it can collect particles as your cat steps onto it.

Who it’s for

This mat suits cat owners who want a dedicated, easy-to-clean landing zone beside the litter box. Its 24" x 15" footprint works for a localized setup, while the double layer gives tracked litter a place to collect instead of leaving it loose on the floor. It can also be useful in a room with hardwood or carpet, since the waterproof base adds a barrier between litter-box messes and the floor.

Practical tips

Place the mat where your cat naturally steps after leaving the box. To reclaim loose litter, lift it gently and let the particles settle into the lower layer, then pour them back into the litter box. For routine upkeep, shake the mat out, for a more thorough clean, rinse it with a hose and allow it to dry before putting it back in place. Keeping it close to the box makes the collected litter easy to gather and return.

What to clarify

How does the mat trap scattered litter? The honeycomb openings let particles pass through the top layer and collect underneath. Lifting the mat releases the litter for disposal or return to the box.

How can I clean it? Shake out collected litter for routine care. The washable mat can also be rinsed with a hose to remove dirt or messes.

Will it work with my litter box and litter? It is described for use with many types of cat litter, including setups with hooded and self-cleaning litter boxes.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want litter collection and floor protection in one defined area beside the box. The honeycomb layers gather scattered particles for easy recovery, and the waterproof base helps shield the floor from liquid—practical features for keeping a cat’s litter station easier to manage.
