Pieviev ZDX04-DM10 Chenille Cat Litter Mat, Absorbent, Non-Slip Backing

Long-pile chenille fibers help catch litter as your cat steps out of the box, giving loose granules a place to land instead of spreading directly across the floor. The soft mat also absorbs moisture, while its waterproof TPR backing adds a practical layer between the mat and the floor. Place it beneath a litter box to create a dedicated cleanup area. It suits homes looking to collect scattered litter rather than leave the floor around the box uncovered.

Quick sizing guide

At 27.95 x 20.08 inches, the mat creates a broad landing area beside and in front of a litter box. Position it where your cat usually exits so paws encounter the chenille fibers on the way out. Its 12 mm deep pile is designed to trap clumping, crystal, or pellet litter, making it useful for a range of litter styles. The textured backing is intended to help the mat stay in place on tile, hardwood, and laminate floors.

The plush surface can also serve as a soft mat in a bathroom or shower room. For a litter station, place the box over the mat and keep the fiber area exposed where your cat steps. That setup gives tracked granules and dripping moisture a defined collection point without changing the litter box itself.

Why it’s worth it

This mat combines litter capture with everyday floor protection. Its chenille pile reaches into loose granules, while the absorbent surface takes in moisture and the TPR backing helps keep liquid from passing through to the floor. The plush texture adds a softer surface around the litter station, and the gray color offers a neutral look for a commonly used household area.

For routine cleanup, fold the mat and shake loose litter back into the box. It can also be machine washed for a deeper clean and is described as quick drying. Buyers often praise its litter-catching ability, appearance, and ease of shaking out, comments on washing are mixed, so cleaning experiences vary. This makes the shake-out option especially useful for frequent tidying between washes.

Is it worth it?

If scattered litter around the box is the main concern, this mat offers a practical alternative to leaving the surrounding floor bare. Its deep chenille fibers provide a landing surface for litter, and the absorbent top with waterproof backing helps manage moisture at the same time. It is a useful fit for a home litter area where easy shake-out cleanup, a soft surface, and floor coverage matter. The same plush mat can also be used in a bathroom or shower room, giving it a purpose beyond the cat’s litter station.
