USHARP Cat Litter Mat, 47 x 36-Inch Double-Layer Honeycomb Catcher
Product description
Place the USHARP cat litter mat beneath the litter box to catch loose litter as your cat steps out. Its 47 x 36-inch surface gives scattered granules a broad landing area around the box.
The two-layer design pairs a honeycomb top with a waterproof bottom layer. The textured openings collect litter, while the base helps protect floors from urine and stays in place on tile or wood.
Choose this large-format mat when you want coverage around the litter box, a smaller mat may suit a tighter space. The soft EVA surface also folds for storage or carrying, so it can be used at home or while traveling with your cat.
Tech summary
The mat measures 47 x 36 x 0.24 inches and is made from EVA. Its honeycomb top is designed to catch litter from paws, and the waterproof lower layer helps shield flooring from urine. A slip-resistant base helps keep the mat positioned as cats walk across it. The surface is described as soft and odorless, with a 5 mm edge to contain scattered litter.
The generous footprint is useful when a litter box sits in a high-traffic spot or when loose litter tends to spread beyond a compact mat. Buyers commonly praise its size, litter-catching function, and ease of cleaning. Feedback on durability is mixed: some find it durable, while others report that cats have shredded the honeycomb top layer.
Everyday use
After your cat leaves the box, litter caught in the honeycomb texture can be tipped back into the litter box. This helps keep loose granules gathered in one place rather than spread across the floor. The waterproof layer adds practical protection beneath the mat, especially around a box used daily.
Its size also makes it useful for setting up a more defined litter area. The soft surface can serve as a resting spot, and the non-slip base is intended for tile and wood floors. For a cat area that needs to be moved or put away, the foldable design packs down to one-third of its size and is described as laying flat again when opened.
How to use it
Position the mat beneath the litter box with the honeycomb surface facing up. When litter collects, lift the mat and pour the trapped pieces back into the box. For routine care, shake it out, wipe it with a damp cloth, wash it with water, or vacuum it. Let it dry before returning it to the floor. The foldable construction also makes it easier to store or carry for travel.
Practical questions
How does the mat collect litter? Its honeycomb openings catch loose granules from your cat’s paws as they leave the box. Lift the mat to return the collected litter to the box.
How do you clean it? Shake or lift it to empty trapped litter, then wipe, rinse with water, or vacuum the surface. Allow it to dry before placing it back beneath the litter box.
Can it help protect flooring from urine? The waterproof lower layer is designed to help protect floors from urine and spills. Position the mat under the litter box to use that protective layer where it is needed.
