Songrey 1 Silicone Cat Litter Mat, Gray, Waterproof, 34" x 22

For cat owners who want to catch scattered litter and protect the floor around the litter box, the Songrey mat provides a broad, easy-care surface. Its 34" x 22" size offers room for litter tracking near the box and can fit up to two litter boxes. Waterproof silicone and a raised edge help contain everyday messes. The soft surface is designed with your cat’s paws in mind.

Who it’s for

This mat is suited to indoor cat areas where loose litter, water, or occasional urine can reach the floor. Place it beneath or in front of the litter box to collect litter as your cat steps out, creating a defined area that’s easier to tidy than scattered debris across the surrounding floor. Its large format can accommodate up to two litter boxes, making it useful for a shared litter area. Before choosing a spot, compare the mat’s 34" x 22" dimensions with the available floor space and the entrance area of your box.

It also works beneath food and water bowls, where the surface can catch crumbs and spills. The manufacturer lists additional uses as a sleeping mat, door mat, and shoe drip tray, so it can serve other everyday roles around the home when it’s not being used for litter.

Strengths

The seamless silicone construction is waterproof and urine-proof, while the raised edge helps contain liquid and litter rather than letting mess spread straight onto hardwood or carpet. That protective design is especially useful for keeping the area around a litter box more manageable. The gray color gives the mat a neutral look in a dedicated pet space.

When litter collects on the surface, lift the wide edge and tilt the mat over the box to return it. For routine cleanup, the single-layer design can be vacuumed or swept, or rinsed with water to clear residue. That makes it a practical alternative to a small catcher that covers only the immediate step-out area: the larger surface provides more coverage, and the flexible edge supports a straightforward way to move trapped litter.

The elastic silicone is described as soft on paws and able to withstand scratching and clawing. For cats that move in and out of the box frequently, a comfortable surface underfoot and a dedicated litter-catching zone bring useful functions together in one mat. It is listed as compatible with all litter types.

Worth noting

Set the mat so it covers the area in front of the litter-box entrance, where loose litter is most likely to land. Its raised edge helps keep mess on the mat, and the broad edge gives you a place to lift when emptying collected litter back into the box. For deeper cleanup, rinse the surface with water, for regular upkeep, sweeping or vacuuming are also listed options.

Customer feedback often highlights how easy the mat is to clean and its overall quality. Comments on durability are mixed, so care and handling may matter to shoppers weighing a flexible silicone mat against a more rigid litter-area option. The mat’s multipurpose design can also be useful when a single surface needs to serve a feeding or entryway area.

Buying verdict

Choose the Songrey mat when your priority is a generously sized litter-catching surface that also helps shield the floor from liquid. Its waterproof, raised-edge design addresses mess around the box, while the lift-and-tilt cleanup method makes collected litter easy to return. The soft silicone surface and alternate uses for feeding or household areas add flexibility beyond a basic floor protector. For an indoor cat setup that needs practical coverage around one or more litter boxes, it combines litter control, floor protection, and simple cleaning in one gray mat.
