kaxionage Cat Litter Mat, 30" x 24" Waterproof Double-Layer EVA
Product description
If keeping loose litter near the litter box is a priority, the kaxionage Cat Litter Mat creates a dedicated landing area for litter shaken from your cat’s paws. Its double-layer honeycomb surface catches loose particles, while the side opening makes it easy to return collected litter to the box.
The 30" x 24" mat has a soft EVA surface and a waterproof, non-slip backing for everyday use around the litter area.
Tips for day-to-day use
Place the mat in front of the litter box so paws step onto the honeycomb surface as your cat exits. The upper layer holds loose litter in its pockets, helping keep it gathered on the mat rather than scattered immediately around the box. When it is time to tidy up, lift the mat and shake the collected litter back through the side opening into the box.
For routine care, shake out the mat or wipe it down. For a deeper clean, rinse the whole surface with water. The waterproof lower layer helps protect the floor from urine and other liquids, and its non-slip backing helps keep the mat in position during use. The soft surface is designed to be gentle on paws, making it a comfortable spot for a cat to step across or rest on.
The mat arrives folded. To smooth creases, lay it flat under pressure, such as with a heavy object on top, for at least 24 hours. For stubborn creases, turn it over and roll it in the opposite direction.

Why it’s worth it
The practical difference is the two-layer design: litter falls through the honeycomb surface and stays gathered for emptying, rather than requiring you to sweep each particle up individually. Returning the collected litter to the box also makes the cleanup routine straightforward. Would a mat that gathers litter for easy emptying suit your setup better than a simple flat surface? This one is designed around that specific task, with a side opening and a reusable, rinseable construction.
Buyer feedback frequently appreciates how easy the mat is to empty and clean, along with its litter-catching function. Opinions on its size are mixed, and some buyers mention that it can take time to lie flat. The listed 30" x 24" size is a useful reference when choosing a place for it beside your litter box, the included flattening steps address creases from folded packaging.
What to clarify
How does the mat collect loose litter? The honeycomb top layer catches loose particles from your cat’s paws. Lift the mat and use the side opening to shake the litter back into the box.
How should I clean it? Shake out collected litter or wipe the surface for routine care. For a deeper clean, rinse the mat with water.
What should I do about creases after unpacking? Lay the mat flat under pressure for at least 24 hours. If a crease persists, flip the mat over and roll it in the opposite direction.
Final verdict
For cat owners who want a reusable surface to catch loose litter and simplify cleanup beside the box, this mat combines a paw-friendly EVA top, honeycomb litter collection, and a waterproof, non-slip base. Its 30" x 24" format gives the litter area a defined surface that can be emptied and rinsed as part of a regular care routine.
