Hompet DM2888 Cat Litter Mats, 36 x 60 Inch, 2-Pack, Machine Washable
Product description
Technical overview
A textured surface helps collect loose litter from your cat’s paws as they leave the box, while the 36 x 60-inch mats create a generous landing area around the litter zone. This Hompet two-pack pairs a soft polyester top with an absorbent core and a waterproof barrier to help protect floors from tracked litter and liquid.
The quilted surface is designed to feel comfortable underfoot, and a PVC backing helps the mats grip tile, wood, or laminate. Their 0.5-inch thickness adds a cushioned layer beside the litter box. When it’s time to clean up, shake off surface litter or machine wash the mat, having two makes it easier to rotate between washes. The Husk Birch Sunflower pattern brings a decorative touch to an everyday pet-care area.

Best use cases
Place a mat at the litter box exit to give cats a wide area to step onto and help keep loose litter contained near the box. The large rectangular format is useful in busy litter areas or homes with multiple cats, where a smaller mat may leave more floor exposed. For a simple cleanup routine, shake off loose litter between washes and machine wash the mat as needed.
The absorbent core and waterproof barrier also make the mat suitable for catching small spills around the litter station. Its multipurpose design can serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area, so it can fit into other parts of a pet-friendly home as needs change. Buyers often praise the generous coverage and the print’s appearance. Feedback on litter capture and grip is mixed, so placement on a clean, level floor can help the backing make contact with the surface.
Box contents
The set includes two Hompet cat litter mats, each measuring 36 x 60 inches. The pair can cover a broader area together or let you keep one in use while the other is being washed. If the mat has folds from packaging, regular use can help them relax, washing it before first use or placing a heavy object on top can help it lie flat sooner.
Is it worth it?
For cat owners who want more coverage around the litter box than a compact mat provides, this set combines a large format with a washable design and a waterproof, absorbent construction. The two-mat setup adds flexibility for cleaning rotation, while the patterned surface offers a more decorative alternative to a plain utility mat. It’s a great fit if you want a roomy, multipurpose mat for a litter area, feeding station, or another indoor pet space.
