NEEWER Z2PRO-C Round-Head Flash for Canon, 76Ws, TTL and 1/8000s HSS
Product description
A compact on-camera flash can suit quick portraits and event coverage, while wireless control adds flexibility for more considered lighting setups. The NEEWER Z2PRO-C combines a Canon hot shoe mount with TTL and manual modes. Its 76Ws output and 1/8000s high-speed sync give you useful control over flash exposure in different shooting situations.
Usage tips
For direct flash or bounced light, the head tilts from -7° to 120° and rotates horizontally through 330°. This range helps you redirect light towards a nearby surface rather than aiming it straight at your subject. The two built-in 2W LED modelling lights offer a preview of light and shadow placement, with 10 brightness levels for adjusting the setup before a shot.
On compatible Canon cameras, TTL handles automatic flash exposure, while manual mode lets you set the output yourself. The TCM shortcut switches from TTL to manual in one click, making it easier to carry an exposure setting into a more controlled setup. It makes sense if you want an on-camera flash that can also support off-camera lighting: the 2.4G wireless system offers master and slave roles, with channel and group controls. For Canon EOS R50 use, an AD-E1 adapter is required.
What you’ll notice day to day
The round head, 28–105mm auto or manual zoom, and front- or rear-curtain sync options make it adaptable for portraits, events, and studio-style work. High-speed sync is useful when a shoot calls for flash at shutter speeds up to 1/8000s. For fast-moving subjects, the stated flash duration range is 1/350s to 1/20000s.
The 7.2V/3000mAh battery is rated for 600 full-power flashes, with a 1.5-second recycle time. USB-C charging gives you a straightforward way to recharge the battery, a 5V/2A charger is used for the stated 2.5-hour charging time. Buyers often praise the flash’s power, battery performance, and approachable menu. Feedback on build quality is mixed, so that remains a personal consideration alongside the features and controls.
For wireless use, the flash supports NEEWER Q-system groups as a master and slave groups for Q-system flashes with a QZ-C transmitter. It can also work with the Godox 2.4G X system through the RX COMPAT menu and compatible Xpro, X3, or X2 transmitters. The Q and X systems cannot be used at the same time, and the Godox compatibility requires the latest firmware.
