NEEWER Basics R18 7" Ring Light, 2-Pack, 18W, Dimmable 3000K–6500K

At 7 inches, each NEEWER Basics R18 full-screen LED ring light gives you a compact desktop setup for video calls, streaming, recording and phone selfies. The two-light kit includes desk stands with C clamps, so you can position the lights around a computer or work area and adjust their height and angle for the shot.

Choose warm or cool illumination, then fine-tune brightness to suit your space and on-camera look.

Getting the most from it

Use the C clamp to mount each light to a desktop, then fold the articulating arm to adjust its height. The light rotates 360° at two points, making it easier to direct illumination where it is needed, whether you are facing a laptop for a video conference or setting up a phone for a recording. The compact desktop format keeps the lighting close to your workspace without requiring a separate floor stand.

Each light uses 84 built-in LEDs and edge-lit technology to create soft, even illumination. For a warmer appearance, select a lower colour temperature, for a cooler look, move towards the upper end of the 3000K–6500K range. Ten brightness settings, from 10% to 100%, help tailor the light to different indoor conditions. The CRI of 95 supports faithful colour reproduction for image and video use.

Why it makes sense

A pair of adjustable lights offers a different approach from relying on one fixed lamp or a single ring light: you can position illumination around your desk and adapt each setup to a call, stream or recording. The included clamp and articulated arm make that flexibility practical in a desktop environment, while the touch panel and wireless remote provide two ways to change settings without having to reposition the light.

For a work-from-home call, mount the lights at your desk, direct them towards your camera position and adjust colour temperature and brightness to suit the room. For streaming or phone video, the same controls help you shape a consistent, soft on-camera light. USB connectivity supports a straightforward connection to a suitable power source.

How can the lighting be adjusted? Set the colour temperature between 3000K and 6500K and choose from 10 brightness levels. Use the built-in touch panel or wireless remote to manage the settings, both also offer 30- or 60-minute timer options.

How does each light attach to a desk? The included C clamp mounts to a desktop, and the articulating arm lets you adjust height and rotate the light to direct it towards your camera or workspace.
