Getting the most from it

Use the live thermal view to look for hot or cold areas while checking electrical components, tracing a suspected plumbing leak or troubleshooting HVAC equipment. The 25 Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing as the scene changes, while the 40 mK sensitivity helps reveal subtle temperature differences. Temperature limits and hot- or cold-spot detection can help focus an inspection on areas that deserve a closer look.

For a home check, scan around a window or along a wall and compare the temperature pattern across the surface. The camera can also record thermal images and video, generate thermal reports, trigger temperature alerts and export data in an Excel-compatible format. Real-time waveform views provide another way to follow temperature changes during an inspection. Connect it to a compatible device and use the app to capture and organize findings for later reference. For the phone or tablet connection, use a compatible device and the supplied cable as appropriate.

What you get

The package includes the TC002C Duo thermal imager, an EVA case, an extension cable, a USB-C-to-Lightning cable and a quick guide. Keeping the camera and its accessories together in the case makes it easier to take the inspection setup from a toolbox to a home or job site.

What to clarify
