NEEWER GL25B 25W Streaming Key Light, 12.9-Inch Panel with 2.4G Remote

A desk light for occasional calls has a different job from a key light used for streaming or regular video creation. The NEEWER GL25B gives you adjustable brightness and colour temperature, so you can shape the light for a webcam, live stream or recording setup instead of relying on one fixed look.

Its diffused panel, adjustable stand and several control options make it easy to tailor your desk lighting to the task at hand.

What you’ll notice day to day

The 12.9-inch panel uses 176 LEDs behind a white diffuser and edge-lit design to produce soft, continuous illumination. That diffused output helps reduce harsh shadows and glare, while the stepless brightness control and 2900K–7000K colour temperature range let you adapt the light to your room and on-camera look. For a desk-based stream or video call, you can adjust the panel’s height and tilt to direct light where you need it.

Buyers often highlight the even light, flexible brightness and colour adjustments, and the convenience of having a dedicated remote. Those impressions reflect individual use, while the panel’s adjustable output and positioning provide practical control for a creator’s workspace.

Quick overview

The GL25B is a 25W continuous video light with a stated peak illuminance of 2300 lux at 0.5 m and a CRI rating of 98+. It can serve as a key light or fill light for streaming, video calls and content recording. Its fanless cooling design avoids cooling-fan noise, a useful detail when a microphone is capturing speech nearby.

Control the light on the panel, with the included 2.4G RT100 remote, or through the NEEWER Control Center app on a Windows or macOS computer. The removable 2.4G USB transmitter connects the light to the app, which can manage one or multiple lights without an internet connection. The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.

How to use it

Clamp the stand to the edge of your desk, then use its adjustable height and ball head to position the panel for your camera angle and lighting direction. The light runs from AC power using the included adapter and cable, making it suited to a stationary desk setup for streaming, video calls or recording. Once positioned, adjust brightness and colour temperature on the panel or use the remote for control from your desk. For computer-based lighting adjustments, remove the built-in USB transmitter, connect it to a Windows or macOS computer and open the NEEWER Control Center app.

Is it worth it?

If you want more control than a simple fixed-output desk light provides, the GL25B brings brightness and colour adjustment together with flexible positioning and remote or computer control. Its diffused 12.9-inch panel is designed for continuous on-camera lighting, while the fanless design helps keep the setup quiet. It’s a practical fit for streamers, video-call users and content creators who want to adjust their desk lighting to suit different recording and communication needs.
