Its high-density mesh is designed to catch loose litter as cats step away, helping keep tracked particles off nearby floors. The soft, cushioned feel is comfortable under sensitive paws, while the black carpet-style surface blends into the room as a practical part of the litter area.

• Dimensions: 40 x 30 x 1 inches
• Material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
• Color: Black
• Care: Machine washable
• Model: YB003923-XL

Getting the most from it

Place the mat beneath the litter box so its mesh surface can collect litter carried out on your cat’s paws. The generous footprint works with litter boxes, covered boxes, and self-cleaning litter boxes, giving the surrounding area a defined surface for everyday tracking. Compared with a small mat placed only at the entrance, this size gives you more coverage around the box, it can also serve as a landing area beside the box where your cat steps down.

The non-slip base is designed to help hold the litter box in place. Its waterproof bottom layer also helps protect the floor if water or urine splashes onto the mat. For a quick clean, tip the collected litter back into the trash or vacuum the surface. For a deeper rinse, use a soft water hose and let the mat air-dry before putting it back in place. Machine washing is another care option.

Everyday use

In a daily litter-area routine, position the mat where your cat exits the box, then empty the particles gathered in the mesh as needed. The broad surface gives tracked litter a place to land, while the soft PVC provides a cushioned feel underfoot. Its carpet-like appearance makes it suitable for a visible spot in a bathroom, laundry area, or other part of the home where the litter box is kept.

Buyer feedback often highlights the mat’s appearance, litter-catching performance, and ease of cleaning. Opinions on size are mixed: some find it spacious, while others say it does not cover the area they want for two litter boxes. Feedback on durability and how well it stays in place is also mixed. The 40 x 30-inch dimensions can help you judge how it will sit beneath your particular litter setup.
