ESTHELLO EST-61-GRAY Cat Litter Mat, 24 x 15-Inch EVA Honeycomb Design

Some cat setups need a simple landing area, others call for a more organized way to catch litter around the box. The ESTHELLO EST-61-GRAY uses a double-layer honeycomb surface to collect stray particles as your cat steps off the litter. Would a defined catch zone make the area easier to manage? Its urineproof base also helps protect the floor beneath it.

Best use cases

Place the mat at the entrance to a litter box so loose particles can fall into the honeycomb openings instead of spreading across the surrounding floor. The upper layer captures litter, while the lower layer holds it for emptying. This makes it a practical choice for households looking to keep the litter area more contained without relying on a bare floor or a simple flat surface.

The 24 x 15-inch mat provides a designated area in front of the box, and its envelope-shaped design lets you tip collected litter back into the box. It can also be used beneath food and water bowls to catch spills, or as a resting spot for your cat. The anti-slip backing helps keep it in place during everyday use. Made from EVA, the surface is described as soft and paw-friendly, offering a comfortable place to step after using the box.

Strengths

The double-layer construction is the defining feature: litter drops through the honeycomb openings and stays gathered between the layers until cleanup. Instead of sweeping particles from the floor individually, you can lift and empty the mat, or wipe it with a damp cloth. That straightforward routine suits a litter station that needs regular tidying.

The urineproof base adds a useful layer of floor protection around the box, while the anti-slip backing helps the mat stay positioned where your cat steps out. Together, these details make it useful for a dedicated litter corner as well as for catching scattered particles in a shared room. The gray color offers a neutral look that can blend into a range of home spaces.

Customers commonly praise its litter-catching ability and the ease of emptying and cleaning it. Feedback on the size is mixed: some find the coverage suitable, while others would prefer a wider mat. Its stated dimensions make it easier to judge how the catch area will fit beside your litter box.

When it makes sense

Choose this mat when the goal is to create a defined, easy-to-empty catch area beside a litter box. Its honeycomb layers gather loose litter, and the wipe-clean design helps keep routine cleanup simple. It also offers an alternative to spreading a larger floor covering across the room: a compact mat sized for the space where your cat steps out. For homes that want litter control and a protected surface in one spot, the ESTHELLO combines those functions in a clearly defined 24 x 15-inch footprint.
