Usage tips
This Collector's Edition is a physical DVD for viewers who want to add the film to a movie collection or watch it on a DVD player. Its supernatural premise makes it a fit for an evening of suspense, especially for viewers drawn to eerie encounters and family-centered stakes. The story follows Ramona, who is grieving her husband's death when a mysterious woman appears outside her farmhouse. As the stranger keeps coming closer, Ramona must protect her children while confronting a threat whose intentions remain unknown.
The appeal here is the slow-building unease of an unexplained presence rather than a mystery presented as an ordinary crime story. If your preference is a plot-driven supernatural setup, the farmhouse setting and the threat to Ramona's family give the suspense a personal focus. Buyer reactions to the film are divided: some describe it as a good horror movie, while others find it boring or not especially scary. That makes it useful to approach as a moody thriller, with the understanding that viewers respond differently to its horror elements.
How to use it
Play the DVD on a DVD-compatible player and select the available audio option that suits your viewing. The listed tracks are English and Spanish, both in Dolby Digital 5.1. At 1 hour and 28 minutes, the film offers a feature-length story for a movie-night slot without requiring a multi-part viewing plan. The PG-13 rating can also help households make an informed choice about whether the film is appropriate for their viewers.
The disc's bonus features add a behind-the-scenes angle after the film. “Making The Woman in the Yard” focuses on the production, while “Beneath the Veil” provides another featurette to explore. These extras give collectors and fans a reason to spend time with the release beyond the main story. Compared with choosing a horror title mainly for graphic scares, this one is better approached for its mysterious figure, uneasy atmosphere, and the question of what she wants from Ramona's family.
