The Woman in the Yard 191329275849 Collector's Edition Blu-ray + Digital
Product description
Some movie nights call for a suspense story built around an unsettling mystery. Others call for a physical edition that also offers a digital copy. The Woman in the Yard brings both together in a Collector's Edition Blu-ray + Digital release. Its horror and suspense center on a grieving mother and a mysterious figure outside her farmhouse.
Practical tips
This edition suits a home movie night for viewers drawn to supernatural suspense, family-in-danger stories, and mysteries that unfold around an unexplained presence. Ramona is already coping with her husband's death when a woman dressed in black appears near the farmhouse and begins moving closer. The looming threat puts Ramona's focus on protecting her children, giving the story a personal family stake alongside its eerie premise.
The Blu-ray format makes this a physical movie edition, while the included digital copy adds another way to access the film. The digital copy is subject to expiration, so check NBCUCodes.com for redemption details. The film is rated PG-13 (Parents Strongly Cautioned), a useful content rating to consider when choosing a movie for a group or family viewing.
What stands out
The story pairs a grounded source of tension—Ramona's grief and responsibility for her children—with an otherworldly visitor whose intentions remain mysterious. That combination gives the film a clear focus for viewers who prefer suspense driven by atmosphere and an unfolding threat. Its 1-hour-and-28-minute runtime also makes it a defined feature-length pick for an evening watch.
The Collector's Edition adds bonus material for viewers interested in the film beyond the main feature. It includes “Making The Woman in the Yard” and “Beneath the Veil,” offering additional material associated with the production and its story. Buyers have mixed reactions to the movie itself: some describe it as very good or effective horror, while others find it boring or not particularly scary. Those differing responses make the release a better fit for viewers interested in its premise and supernatural suspense than for someone choosing solely for intense scares.
