Wolf Man (2025) 191329274026 Collector's Edition DVD with Bonus Features

On DVD, Wolf Man (2025) presents a modern monster story in the Collector's Edition format, with English and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and a runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes. The film follows Blake, who takes his wife and daughter to his childhood home in rural Oregon. After an animal attack leaves him injured, the family faces danger outside the house—and a troubling transformation within it.

This edition also includes behind-the-scenes bonus content and feature commentary, giving fans more to explore after the movie.

Key points

The story builds its horror around a family trapped between an unseen threat and Blake’s worsening condition. Charlotte must protect her daughter as his behavior changes, making the danger personal as well as physical. That setup gives the film a different focus from a traditional monster movie centered mainly on the creature: the tension comes from both the threat surrounding the house and the family’s uncertainty about what is happening to Blake.

The DVD includes English and Spanish audio in Dolby Digital 5.1, along with subtitles. With a 1-hour-and-43-minute runtime, it fits a feature-length movie night without requiring a longer viewing commitment. The film is rated R.

Bonus content includes “Unleashing a New Monster,” “Designing Wolf Man,” “Hands-on Horror,” “Nightmares and Soundscapes,” and feature commentary with co-writer and director Leigh Whannell. These extras add material on the creature, production design, horror techniques, sound, and the filmmaking perspective—useful for viewers who enjoy going beyond the main feature.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose the DVD format for a movie collection or a DVD-based home viewing setup. The English and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio options offer a choice of language, while subtitles provide another way to follow the film. Its rural Oregon setting and family-centered suspense make it a natural pick for a horror night built around atmosphere and an unfolding transformation, rather than a straightforward action-driven monster story.

After the feature, the bonus pieces can extend the evening with a closer look at how the new monster and its soundscape were developed. The included commentary offers another way to revisit the movie, particularly for viewers interested in the director’s and co-writer’s perspective.

Who it’s for

This Collector's Edition is suited to horror fans who want a contemporary take on the werewolf story and appreciate a family-focused plot. It also fits viewers who like bonus material alongside the feature, especially design and sound-focused extras or commentary from the filmmaker. If the priority is a familiar, classic werewolf approach, this film takes a more modern route, tying the transformation to a family’s efforts to survive a night of escalating danger.

Customer reactions to the story and its distinct approach are positive in some reviews, while responses to the atmosphere and pacing are mixed. Some viewers find it scary and tense, others describe it as slower or less frightening. That range makes it a better match for viewers drawn to its unusual take and claustrophobic premise than for anyone choosing a horror movie solely for nonstop scares.

Should you buy it?

Choose this edition if you want Wolf Man on DVD with English and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and a collection of filmmaker and production extras. The blend of a modern monster premise, a family under pressure, and commentary plus behind-the-scenes features gives horror fans a feature to watch and additional material to explore afterward.
