The Black Phone Collector's Edition Blu-ray + DVD + Digital
Product description
Some movie fans want a tense story for a focused movie night, others want more than one format and behind-the-scenes extras to explore afterward. The Black Phone Collector's Edition brings the film together on Blu-ray and DVD, with a digital copy and bonus content for a fuller home-viewing experience.
Set in a northern Denver suburb, this psychological horror thriller follows Finney, a shy, resourceful teenager abducted by a masked killer. Tips for day-to-day use
The Blu-ray and DVD formats make this edition useful for a household with different disc-playing setups, while the digital copy offers another way to watch. The digital copy is subject to expiration, code details are available through NBCUCodes.com. Some buyers praise the suspense, story, and performances, especially those of the young cast. Feedback on playback is mixed: some buyers report trouble playing the Blu-ray in 4K players. Check that the format you plan to use suits your player.
For a movie night, the tense basement premise and mystery give viewers a clear story to follow, while the included deleted scenes and filmmaking features offer extra material afterward. It also suits a horror collection when you want the feature film alongside a short film and director commentary, rather than a disc edition focused only on the main movie.
