Oterri AM03118 2-Pack File Storage Boxes with Lids, Gray Linen, Foldable

At 15.7" L x 12" W x 10.83" H, each Oterri file box is sized for organizing letter- or legal-size hanging folders. The gray linen exterior gives paperwork a tidy place on a desk or office shelf.

A reinforced MDF structure supports the box, while clear sliding bars help folders move along the edges. The flip-top lid keeps documents together when the box is not in use.

The foldable design offers another practical benefit: the boxes can be collapsed for storage when you need the space for something else. They arrive already assembled, so you can put them to work without a separate setup step.

The essentials

This two-pack is designed for everyday document organization at home or in an office. Keep bills, work papers, mail, or important records grouped in hanging folders instead of spread across a desk. The sliding bars let folders move inside the box, making it easier to sort papers by topic or date and retrieve what you need.

The MDF support and linen covering bring structure and a finished look to a filing setup. A flip-top lid helps keep the contents together, and the box is designed to accommodate both letter- and legal-size files. Compared with an open desktop sorter, this format gives folders a covered home that can also be moved or stored as a unit.

How to use it

Place hanging folders on the clear sliding bars, then organize documents by project, household task, or filing period. The rectangular shape makes the box practical for a desk or office area, while the gray color and modern style suit a range of workspaces. Use the second box to separate another category of paperwork, such as household records from work documents.

The box is listed as already assembled. When you want to put it away, its foldable construction lets it collapse for more compact storage. Keep it in a dry indoor workspace, the material is not water resistant.

Getting the most from it

Choose a simple labeling system before filling the boxes—for example, one for current paperwork and another for records you need to keep. That makes each box easier to use as a small filing station rather than a general catchall. The lid is designed to fit over folders, so documents can stay grouped between filing sessions.

Buyers often praise the box’s appearance and sturdy feel, and many appreciate using it to organize papers. Feedback about lid fit is mixed, so check that the lid is seated as you close it. The combination of file-folder storage and fold-flat construction is especially useful when you want a defined place for documents without keeping an open organizer out all the time.

Before you decide

Will it hold letter- and legal-size files? Yes. The box is designed for both letter- and legal-size folders, including hanging folders.

Does it need to be assembled? It is described as already assembled, so it is ready to use for filing.

Can it be stored compactly when empty? Yes. The foldable design allows the box to collapse when it is not in use.

Is it worth it?

For anyone who wants a covered, movable home for hanging files, the Oterri set pairs practical folder access with a reinforced structure and a foldable design. Its two-box format can help separate document categories, while the linen exterior gives a filing setup a more finished appearance. It’s a useful fit for organizing everyday papers at a desk or keeping household records together in an office area.
