ENGPOW EG056 Fireproof Document Organizer Bag with Lock, 13 Pockets

Keep passports, certificates, cards, and paperwork together at home or ready to grab for travel. The ENGPOW EG056 combines a soft-sided organizer with a combination lock and multiple labeled storage areas. Its materials are described as fire-resistant and water-resistant, but the bag is not intended for unlimited fire exposure or immersion.

The essentials

The organizer measures 15.1" x 11.2" x 4.3" and has a listed capacity of 13 liters. Inside, 13 accordion pockets with labels help separate documents by category. The layout also includes passport mesh pockets, card slots, USB drive pockets, folder layers, and a main compartment with a buckle. That mix is useful when you want more than a single open file pouch, especially for keeping travel documents and household records in one place.

A combination lock secures the double-zipper opening, and the included instructions explain how to set a personal code. The bag uses silicone-coated fiberglass and aluminum foil, and the product information describes it as heat-insulated and water-resistant, with a stated temperature rating of 5200°F and a UL94 V-0/5VA flame-retardant test. These claims indicate added protection, not that contents are guaranteed to survive every fire or water event.

Buyers commonly praise the roomy layout, labeled sections, and ability to keep different document sizes organized. Some also appreciate the added sense of security from the lock and protective materials. Those impressions can help indicate what people value in daily use, but they do not replace the product’s stated limits.

Care tips

The manufacturer says not to immerse or wash the bag in liquid. Water-resistant does not mean waterproof, so avoid treating it as a dry bag or leaving it submerged. For fire safety, the product information explicitly advises keeping exposure to a minimum, it should be viewed as an extra layer of protection rather than a substitute for a fire safe when prolonged heat exposure is a concern.

How to use it

Sort paperwork into the labeled accordion pockets, then use the smaller mesh and card sections for passports, cards, or USB drives. The compartments can be removed and used separately, according to the product details. To set the lock, the instructions say to start at 0-0-0, press the reset button with a tool, choose a combination, and push the release button back into place. Remember the code: no keys are included.

The grab handle supports carrying the organizer, while a rear strap can slide over a suitcase handle. At 2 pounds, it is designed to be portable, but its broad document-focused shape is better suited to carrying and storing records than to replacing a compact wallet or a rigid filing cabinet. It makes sense if you want papers organized together with added resistance to heat and moisture, It may not suit you if you need waterproof storage or protection through extended fire exposure.

Questions before you buy

Is the bag waterproof? No. It is described as water-resistant, and the care guidance says not to immerse it or wash it in liquid.

How do you set the combination? The instructions describe changing the original 0-0-0 code with the reset button and numbered dials. A manual is included, and no key is supplied.

Can the interior folders be removed? Yes. The product details say the folders can be detached and used separately.

Should you buy it?

Choose the EG056 if you want a portable, lockable place to sort important papers, cards, and travel documents into separate sections. It offers more built-in organization than a basic document bag and is easier to carry than a rigid safe, while its soft shell and stated resistance should not be mistaken for complete protection in every emergency. If your priority is prolonged fire protection or waterproof storage, this organizer’s stated limits matter.
