Lifewit LF230066 Laundry Baskets, Foldable Waterproof Polyester, 80L, Set of 2

Some laundry storage needs to stay in one place, other times, it helps to carry washing between rooms or take it to the laundrette. The Lifewit LF230066 set includes two rectangular, collapsible laundry baskets in grey and blue. Each stands upright when opened, with no assembly required. Their handles make it easier to move clothes and towels around the home.

What stands out

The foldable design gives you a practical way to store laundry without keeping a rigid basket in use all the time. When a basket is needed, open it out and it stands freely, when it is not, fold it down to save space. That makes the pair handy for bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms and wardrobes, as well as shared spaces such as a college dormitory.

The baskets are made from polyester, with a waterproof PE coating on the inside. This lining helps keep stored items dry and is useful when gathering damp towels or separating washing from other belongings. The open top makes it straightforward to add and remove laundry, while the reinforced, stitched handles are designed for carrying, including on trips up and down stairs.

What matters most

The product is listed with an 80L capacity and dimensions of 40 x 30 x 67 cm, and comes as a set of two. The generous format suits everyday laundry as well as bulkier items such as bedding and towels, the baskets can also be used to gather toys or keep belongings together while travelling. With two baskets, you can place laundry collection points in different rooms or use one for washing and the other for towels or general storage.

What makes this set useful beyond a fixed laundry spot? Its combination of a standing shape, carry handles and fold-away storage supports both daily collection and moving laundry when it is ready to be washed. Buyers often praise the roomy size and ease of carrying, and some find the baskets useful as corner storage or for towels. Feedback on the material, sturdiness and folding is mixed, so the main appeal is the practical capacity and portable, collapsible format rather than a rigid frame.

Care & maintenance

To clean the polyester surface, wipe it with a damp cloth. The PE coating is not suited to machine washing or tumble drying, as these can damage the lining. Folding the baskets away when they are not needed helps free up storage space, while opening them out provides a freestanding place to collect laundry.

Should you buy it?

Choose this Lifewit set if you want two sizeable laundry baskets that can be moved between rooms and folded away when empty. The waterproof interior, stitched handles and stand-up design make them useful for collecting clothes and towels at home, while their portable format also suits laundry trips, travel or a camper. It is a practical approach to laundry storage when flexibility matters as much as capacity.
