SONGMICS LCB363N01 140 L Laundry Basket with Lid, 3 Compartments & Wheels

For households that want to sort laundry as it is collected, the SONGMICS LCB363N01 combines three compartments with a 140 L total capacity. Its wheeled design makes it easier to move a full hamper towards the washing machine, while the lid keeps laundry covered between wash days.

The removable liner is machine-washable, and the basket can be set up on wheels or on the included feet for stationary use.

How it fits

Separate darks, lights and colours in the three sections instead of sorting a mixed load later. The 10 L side pocket offers extra space for smaller items, while the 130 L main basket accommodates family laundry. A lid helps keep the contents out of sight, making the hamper practical for a bedroom, bathroom or utility area.

When laundry needs to be carried elsewhere, use the long pull handle and four castors, two castors have brakes to help keep the basket in place. For a fixed position, the wheels can be replaced with the included feet. Its synthetic rattan finish brings a woven look to everyday laundry storage, while the steel frame supports loads up to 30 kg.

What stands out

The removable 160 g/m² TC fabric liner can be taken out for machine washing, helping keep the inside fresh and making it easier to carry laundry to the machine. The PP rattan is described as waterproof and breathable, so the basket combines ventilation with a practical surface for laundry storage. It is also foldable for storage when not in use, such as during a move or when clearing space.

Buyers often highlight the roomy capacity, the usefulness of the compartments for sorting and the convenience of moving the hamper on its wheels. Ease of assembly and the appearance also feature in positive feedback. That makes this a different approach from a single-compartment basket: the separated sections help organise washing before laundry day, rather than leaving all sorting until the load is ready.

When it makes sense

This hamper suits a laundry routine where separating colours as they accumulate saves a step later. For example, different wash types can go into their own sections during the week, then the wheeled basket can be moved to the laundry area when it is time to wash. The side pocket gives smaller items a dedicated place, while the lid keeps the overall look tidy in a shared living space.

A solid pick if you want substantial, organised laundry storage with the flexibility to roll it between rooms or keep it in one spot. Its three sections, washable liner and covered design make everyday laundry easier to manage in a family home.
