Lifewit 23156 140L Laundry Hamper with Lid, Two Compartments, Light Grey

Keep laundry organised from the moment it comes off the floor with a two-compartment hamper for the bedroom, bathroom or laundry room. The Lifewit 23156 has a 140L capacity and a lid for a tidier look between wash days. Removable bags and two handles make sorting and moving laundry part of one simple routine.

Highlights

Two compartments let you separate clothes as you put them away, so items are ready to gather by load when it is time to wash. At 140L, the hamper offers generous shared storage for everyday laundry, while its rectangular shape makes it easy to position alongside bedroom or bathroom storage. The lid helps keep laundry contained and gives the basket a neat appearance in a living space.

The removable bags make it easier to take laundry from the hamper to the washing area, rather than carrying the whole unit. Two handles help when moving it between rooms. The light grey colour and modern style suit a range of home interiors, and the collapsible design is useful when you want a hamper that can be folded away between uses.

Buyers often praise the hamper’s appearance, size and practicality, and some find assembly straightforward. Feedback on overall quality is mixed, some buyers mention that the bag fastenings do not always hold securely and that screws can loosen over time. These comments offer useful context when choosing a laundry sorter for regular household use.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the hamper where clothes are usually changed or where laundry is gathered, so separating items becomes part of the everyday routine. Use the two sections to organise laundry as it accumulates, then lift out the removable bags when it is time to carry clothes to the washing area. Keeping the lid closed between trips helps maintain a tidier appearance in the room.

For a practical setup, assemble the hamper on a clear, level surface and position it with enough room to access both compartments and the lid. The handles are there for moving the basket between rooms, the removable bags provide a separate way to carry laundry. If you need to free up space, the collapsible format can be folded away when the hamper is not in use.

Practical tips

This hamper suits homes where laundry is collected in more than one room or where separating clothes before wash day helps keep the routine organised. In a bedroom, it keeps laundry in one defined place, in a bathroom or laundry room, its two sections help keep different loads apart. Compared with a single-compartment basket, the two-part layout makes sorting part of storage, while the removable bags offer a more portable approach than carrying one large hamper to the washing machine.

Its 140L capacity is useful for storing a sizeable amount of household laundry in one place. Choose a spot that leaves the lid easy to open and gives you room to lift out the bags. That keeps both the sorting and carrying steps straightforward, whether the hamper is used by one person or shared around the home.
