Lifewit 24229 Laundry Sorter with Bamboo Frame, 3 Compartments and Shelf

Households looking to sort laundry as it is collected can use the Lifewit 24229 to separate clothes, towels and other washing in one place.

Three removable laundry bags make it easier to organise items by colour, fabric type or wash day. Each bag can be detached and carried to where the laundry needs to go.

A bamboo frame and top shelf bring sorting and storage together in a rectangular unit measuring 96.2 x 33.4 x 72 cm. The black fabric gives it a simple look for a laundry room, bathroom or living room.

The essentials

Instead of putting everything into one hamper and sorting it later, this laundry sorter gives each category its own compartment. That can make the next load easier to prepare, particularly in a busy household where clothes and towels build up at different times. The separate bags also help keep sorted items together between laundry days.

The bamboo frame supports the three-compartment layout, while the shelf above provides a handy place for laundry supplies or toiletries. Keeping those everyday items close to the sorter can make the area easier to use without needing a separate storage surface. The bags are made from Oxford cloth with a waterproof lining, making them practical for collecting regular household washing.

Getting the most from it

Choose a simple sorting routine that suits your household: for example, use a separate bag for colours, towels and everyday clothes. Keeping the same categories in the same compartments makes it straightforward for everyone to put items away as they change, and helps you gather a suitable load when it is time to wash.

Use the top shelf for items you reach for during laundry, such as detergent or toiletries. The removable bags can be taken out individually, so you can carry a category of washing without moving the full sorter. Numbered components and the supplied instructions support assembly of the frame and shelf.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the sorter where laundry is usually changed or gathered, such as a laundry room, bathroom or living room. Its 96.2 x 33.4 cm footprint gives the three bags a wide, organised arrangement, while the shelf keeps useful supplies above them. This setup is a practical alternative to a single laundry basket when separating loads as you go is part of your routine.

When a bag is ready to move, detach it from the frame and carry it separately. After emptying it, return it to its compartment so the sorting system is ready for the next items. The shelf can also hold garments or other laundry-room essentials, keeping frequently used items within easy reach.

Is it worth it?

The Lifewit 24229 is a useful choice for households that want laundry sorting built into their storage, rather than relying on several separate baskets or sorting a mixed pile later. Its three removable bags support an organised routine, while the bamboo frame and shelf make better use of the space above the laundry. Choose it for a dedicated place to separate washing and keep everyday laundry supplies close at hand.
