Lifewit 24017 Slim Laundry Baskets, 2 x 65L, Lidded and Foldable

The slim 41 cm by 22 cm footprint helps these Lifewit baskets make use of narrow gaps and corners, while the 65-litre capacity gives laundry plenty of room. This set contains two black baskets, each with a lid and handles, for keeping laundry together without taking up a broad area of floor space.

Oxford fabric gives the baskets a modern, rectangular look that suits bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry rooms. They fold away when not in use, and the included support poles let you set them up without tools.

What matters most

The narrow shape is useful where a standard, wider laundry basket would be awkward to place. Tuck a basket into a corner, beside a wardrobe or into a slim gap, then use its capacity for everyday clothes, towels or bedding. Having two baskets also makes it easier to keep laundry in separate places around the home, such as one in a bedroom and another in a bathroom.

A lid keeps the contents covered, helping to keep dust out and the room looking tidier. The two long handles make it easier to carry a full basket between rooms. The structure uses support poles and a hard base to help it stand upright, while the Oxford fabric body can be folded for storage when the basket is not needed.

Buyers often highlight the way the baskets fit into narrow spaces, their useful capacity and straightforward assembly. Feedback on sturdiness is mixed: some find the basket sturdy, while others report problems with the supports. These points are worth weighing alongside the space-saving shape and fold-away design when choosing laundry storage.

Quick sizing guide

Each basket measures 41L x 22W x 72H centimetres and has a capacity of 65 litres. The slim rectangular profile is intended for compact spaces, while the height provides room for a substantial load. Measure the intended spot, including its available height, to see how the basket will sit alongside nearby furniture or fittings.

The pair suits a different approach from using one large hamper in a central spot: place the baskets where laundry is generated, or keep a second one available for towels, blankets, pillows or toys. This also makes the set useful beyond laundry, as covered storage for soft household items.

Everyday use

For daily laundry, keep one basket in the bedroom and carry it by its handles to the laundry room when needed. The lid keeps clothes out of sight between loads, and the narrow base makes it easier to position the basket in a smaller room. In a dorm room or compact apartment, the second basket can provide a separate collection point or extra storage without requiring a wide footprint.

Assembly involves inserting the four foldable poles into their fixed tubes, with no tools required. When you need to reclaim the floor space, fold the basket and store it in a cupboard or drawer. Its black colour and simple modern shape make it practical for rooms where the hamper remains visible.

Final verdict

Choose this Lifewit set for covered, 65-litre laundry storage in a slim format. The two-basket layout, carrying handles and foldable construction suit homes that need flexible places to collect laundry, particularly in narrow bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms or dorm spaces.
