PrintImpression Epson 222XL Remanufactured Ink Cartridge 4-Pack, Black and Color
Product description
This remanufactured four-cartridge pack includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink. It is made as a replacement for Epson 222XL cartridges. The listed printer compatibility includes the Workforce WF-2960 and Expression Home XP-5200. Its page-yield figures are based on 5% coverage on A4 paper.
What you’ll notice day to day
The pack covers both black text and color printing, so it suits a household or home office that uses one printer for a mix of documents and color pages. The black cartridge is listed for up to 550 pages, while each color cartridge is listed for up to 185 pages. Those estimates use a specific coverage level and paper format, actual yield can vary with what you print, especially for pages with large areas of color or images.
PrintImpression describes the cartridges as remanufactured and says their upgraded chips are intended to support printer recognition and ink-level display. That can matter when replacing a cartridge, but this product is a third-party remanufactured alternative, not an Epson-manufactured cartridge. It may suit someone prioritizing a ready-to-use replacement set over buying individual colors, while an Epson-branded cartridge is the other route for buyers who specifically want the printer maker’s own supplies.
The essentials
- Type: Remanufactured replacement ink cartridges
- What’s included: One black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow cartridge
- Compatibility: Workforce WF-2960 and Expression Home XP-5200
- Page yield: Up to 550 pages per black cartridge, up to 185 pages per color cartridge at 5% coverage on A4 paper
- Special feature: Upgraded chips, according to the product listing
The stated compatibility is specific to the printer models named above. Match your printer to that list before choosing the pack, the “222XL” wording alone does not establish compatibility with other Epson printers. The listed yields are estimates rather than a promise of the same number of pages for every print job. For pages with heavier ink coverage, the actual count may be lower.
Who it’s for
Worth considering if you own a listed printer and want all four replacement colors in one pack, with stated yield information for black and color. It also makes sense for routine mixed printing, such as black-and-white paperwork alongside occasional color documents. The four separate colors mean the set includes the components for both types of printing rather than only a black cartridge.
Not the best choice if your printer model is not among the listed compatible devices, or if you specifically require Epson-manufactured cartridges. The product is identified as remanufactured, so that distinction is central to the buying decision. Before ordering, confirm the printer name and the cartridge series currently required by your device.
Before you decide
Which printers are listed as compatible? The product information names the Workforce WF-2960 and Expression Home XP-5200, including the XP-5200 under the Expression Home line.
What comes in the pack? One black cartridge and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow. The listing describes the set as a four-pack.
How should I interpret the page-yield figures? The listing gives up to 550 pages for black and up to 185 pages per color cartridge, measured at 5% coverage on A4 paper. Your results depend on print coverage and content.
Final verdict
This PrintImpression set is a practical format for replacing black and all three color cartridges together in the listed printer models. The key trade-off is clear: it is a remanufactured alternative with stated chip upgrades and yield estimates, not an Epson-made cartridge. Choose it if that distinction suits your needs and your printer matches the compatibility list, look for a different cartridge option if you need a model that is not listed or specifically want Epson-manufactured supplies.
