E-Z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridges, 14-Pack

When several colors are running low, a multipack can save you from ordering replacements one cartridge at a time. This E-Z Ink set contains 14 compatible cartridges for select Brother inkjet printers.

The bundle includes five black cartridges and three each of cyan, magenta, and yellow. That mix is especially relevant if you print both documents and color graphics.

If you prioritize having replacements ready across several colors, the multipack makes sense, if you prefer to replace only the cartridge that is empty, a smaller set would be a better match.

Where it shines

The main appeal is the quantity and color mix. You get five black cartridges for text-heavy printing, alongside three cartridges for each listed color. For a home office, that could mean having a spare ready when a color runs out during a presentation or a school project, rather than pausing to place another order.

E-Z Ink lists compatibility with the Brother MFC-J6510DW, MFC-J6710DW, MFC-J6910DW, MFC-J280W, MFC-J425W, MFC-J430W, MFC-J435W, MFC-J5910DW, MFC-J625DW, MFC-J825DW, and MFC-J835DW. It’s a great fit if your printer is one of those models and you want a full replacement set on hand. The listed yield is 600 pages per cartridge for black and color, based on 5% page coverage. Treat that as a reference point: pages with heavier ink coverage may use more ink.

What to know

These are compatible replacement cartridges, not a single-cartridge purchase. The package breakdown is five black LC71/75XL cartridges, plus three each of cyan, magenta, and yellow LC71/75XL cartridges. The product title also refers to LC79 compatibility, but the supplied printer list is the clearest guide to whether this set is intended for your machine.

The listing describes the ink as producing crisp text and graphics, but it does not provide details about performance for a particular paper type or print setting. From the way it is set up, the practical tradeoff is straightforward: the larger pack offers backups and more color coverage, while buying only one replacement avoids keeping extra cartridges around. Better avoided if your printer model is not on the compatibility list or you only need one color right now.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at owners of the listed Brother MFC models who print often enough to want spare black and color cartridges available. Think of a desk where invoices and everyday documents use black ink, but occasional charts, forms, or graphics also call for color. The larger quantity can suit that mix better than sourcing each cartridge separately.

It is less tailored to someone with light, occasional printing who wants to minimize the number of spares they store. The package includes multiple cartridges per color, so the decision is not just about printer compatibility, it is also about whether you expect to use the whole mix over time.

When it makes sense

Choose this multipack if your exact Brother model is listed, you need replacements in more than one color, and you value keeping extras ready. Its 5-black, 3-each-color configuration is the detail that sets it apart from a basic single-cartridge replacement.

If you are unsure which cartridge family your printer takes, check the model and cartridge designation before ordering, the product names several LC families, but compatibility is not universal across Brother printers. For a listed model and regular mixed-color printing, the bundle is a practical way to stock up. For an unlisted printer or a one-color, one-time need, a more targeted replacement is the safer choice.
