One Piece Collection 25 704400104183_ig_loc DVD Box Set, Subtitled

Some fans want a single installment, others want a collected release that keeps a longer stretch of the story together. One Piece Collection 25 is a subtitled DVD box set with Japanese-language presentation and 10 hours and 58 minutes of runtime, centered on the Straw Hats’ dangerous encounter at the laboratory.

The story brings the Straw Hat and Heart Pirate crews into an alliance as they confront a threat tied to the suffering children and a poison-gas crisis.

Where it shines

This collection is built around a developing storyline rather than a standalone scene: Law’s target is connected to the children’s withdrawals, while a gaseous enemy sends a slime monster after the crews and drives the Straw Hats into the lab. The danger escalates as the children rampage for candy, Monet freezes Luffy, and poison gas closes in. An unlikely hero may shift the balance. That connected sequence gives viewers a substantial stretch of the arc to follow in one set.

The Japanese-language, subtitled DVD format suits fans who want to watch the original-language presentation on disc. Its 10 hours and 58 minutes of runtime make it a collected viewing option for a longer session or for returning to the story over several sittings. The NTSC DVD format is also clearly identified, helping shoppers choose by physical media format instead of relying on a title name alone.

Worth noting

The release is rated PG-13, a useful detail for households deciding whether the story’s action and peril suit their viewers. Its packaging is a box set, and the listed media format is DVD, NTSC, and subtitled. The collection’s narrative includes children in distress, a poison-gas threat, and confrontations involving the Straw Hat crew, so the rating and plot context can help set expectations before viewing.

Bonus content includes textless versions of the opening songs “We Go!” and “Hands Up!” These extras add a way to revisit the opening visuals without on-screen song text. For buyers choosing between an individual episode and a collected release, this set is the format to consider when the priority is having this extended storyline and its listed opening-song extras together on DVD.

Best use cases

Choose Collection 25 for a One Piece watch-through focused on the lab storyline, the uneasy alliance between the Straw Hat and Heart Pirate crews, and the threat closing in around them. The extended runtime supports watching the arc across a planned marathon or splitting it into shorter sessions, while the subtitled Japanese presentation keeps the viewing format clear. It also works for a physical-media collection where a labeled box set and its bonus opening songs are part of the appeal.

The plot details make this a particularly relevant pick for viewers following Law’s next target and the consequences of the children’s withdrawals. Rather than selecting a release only for general series coverage, buyers can choose this one for its specific combination of alliance, laboratory danger, and the possibility of an unexpected turn in the conflict.

Final verdict

One Piece Collection 25 brings a substantial, connected stretch of the series to DVD, with Japanese-language subtitled presentation, nearly eleven hours of runtime, and two textless opening-song bonuses. It makes sense if the goal is to follow the lab conflict and Straw Hat–Heart Pirate alliance in a collected format, whether for a focused viewing session or a continuing One Piece disc collection.
