CORSAIR FRAME 4000D RS ARGB Mid-Tower PC Case

This Corsair mid-tower PC case focuses on flexible building and strong airflow for high-performance desktop systems, with modular elements that let the chassis evolve as needs change and a front trio of addressable RGB fans for immediate cooling and visual impact.

Key Points

The FRAME 4000D RS ARGB offers a modular FRAME system that allows swapping panels and motherboard trays to alter port layout or materials, which makes upgrades and customisation straightforward. It comes with three pre-installed CORSAIR RS ARGB PWM fans that include eight LEDs each and support daisy-chained 4-pin PWM control and Zero RPM mode for very low noise at light loads. The front steel panel uses a 3D perforated Y-pattern designed to promote strong intake airflow while keeping obstruction to a minimum.

Advantages

The InfiniRail fan mounting system gives you freedom to position fans where they make the most difference, allowing either a clean aesthetic or an aggressive cooling setup. The removable internal panel near the motherboard tray can act as a cable cover to tidy wiring or be taken out to add side fans for extra ventilation. Lighting is easy to control through the motherboard +5V ARGB header, so synchronising effects with other components is straightforward according to the manufacturer.

Practical Tips

For a quiet daily machine, enable Zero RPM mode in your motherboard fan controls and use the FRAME system to keep cable runs concealed behind the tray. If you plan a high-TDP GPU or heavy overclocking, consider mounting larger front fans on the InfiniRail and adding top exhausts to create a focused airflow path. Bear in mind that very large front fan configurations may reduce space for front-mounted radiators depending on your internal layout.
