SmarTect Glass Screen Protector for Garmin Forerunner 255/255 Music, 3-Pack
Product description
Garmin Forerunner 255 and 255 Music owners looking to protect the watch display get three tempered-glass protectors in this SmarTect pack. The glass is listed as 0.3 mm thick, with a 9H hardness rating and a glossy, ultra-clear finish.
It is designed for these two Forerunner models, rather than being a universal watch protector. The fit detail matters: on a curved device, the glass covers only the horizontal surface.
That makes this a different approach from a flexible TPU film, which the product information describes as better suited to curved displays. Glass is the more relevant choice if scratch and impact protection for the covered area is the priority.
Tech summary
- Type: Tempered-glass screen protector
- Compatibility: Garmin Forerunner 255 and 255 Music
- Thickness: 0.3 mm
- Hardness rating: 9H
- Finish: Glossy

The stated features include high touch sensitivity and an oleophobic coating intended to help resist fingerprints, dirt and grease marks. These are useful details for a watch worn throughout the day, where keeping the display clear and responsive matters. The 9H rating is a hardness specification, it should not be read as a guarantee that the screen cannot be damaged.
Requirements
This pack is intended for owners of a Garmin Forerunner 255 or 255 Music. Before choosing it, consider how the watch’s curved display affects coverage: the supplied glass protects the horizontal surface only, not the entire curved area. If full-surface coverage is your priority, a flexible film designed for curved displays may suit that requirement better.
It makes sense if you want glass protection for the main display area and value having spare protectors in the pack. You may want to skip it if you specifically need protection across the curved edges, as that coverage is not claimed here.
Practical tips
The cleaning accessories are there to prepare the display before fitting: the wipes and microfibre cloth help clean it, while the dust-removal stickers can lift particles that might otherwise sit beneath the glass. Follow the included instructions and take care over alignment before pressing the protector down, the product information describes the application as bubble-free, but careful preparation still matters.
For example, someone putting the watch on after a workout could wipe away marks before fitting a protector, then use the cloth for routine cleaning. The pack’s three pieces also mean there are replacements available if a fitting attempt is unsuccessful or a protector needs changing later. No installation experience is stated as necessary, and an English manual is included.
Before you decide
Will it fit a Forerunner 255 Music? Yes. The stated compatibility covers both the Garmin Forerunner 255 and 255 Music.
Does it cover the whole display? No. On a curved device, the product information says it covers only the horizontal surface.
What comes in the pack? There are three glass protectors, three wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two dust-removal stickers and an English instruction manual.
Should you buy it?
Choose this SmarTect pack if your watch is one of the named Forerunner models and you want a glossy tempered-glass layer over the horizontal display area, along with a fitting kit and spares. Its clearest trade-off is coverage: it is not presented as a full wrap over curved edges. If edge-to-edge coverage matters more than a glass protector for the main surface, compare it with a flexible film made for curved displays before deciding.
