SmarTect CAT S62 Pro Tempered Glass Screen Protector, 9H, 0.3 mm, 3 Pack

Some buyers want a flexible film for a curved screen, others prefer tempered glass as a barrier against everyday scratches and knocks. This SmarTect protector is made for the CAT S62 Pro and comes as a three-pack. Would its glass construction suit the way you use your phone? The listing also specifies a 0.3 mm thickness and 9H surface hardness.

Key points

The pack contains three glossy tempered-glass protectors, so there are replacements available if one needs to be removed or replaced. SmarTect lists the glass as ultra-clear, with high touch sensitivity and an oleophobic coating intended to reduce fingerprints, dirt and grease marks. Those features aim to preserve clear screen viewing and ordinary touch use, rather than add privacy or a matte finish.

The manufacturer describes the glass as scratch- and impact-resistant, with 9H hardness. That rating is a stated product specification, not a guarantee that a phone screen cannot be damaged. For someone who wants a rigid layer over the CAT S62 Pro display, glass is a different approach from a flexible TPU film, which the product information describes as suited to curved displays and basic protection under light use.

Worth considering if you want several clear glass protectors for the specified phone and prefer a rigid screen covering. The package also includes three wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two anti-dust stickers and English installation instructions. The manufacturer says the protector is cut to fit most cases, but does not claim compatibility with every case.

Best use cases

This pack is aimed at protecting a CAT S62 Pro screen during everyday handling, when keys, coins or general contact might otherwise mark the display. It may suit someone who wants to fit a protector at home and keep spares for later. The cleaning items and dust stickers give you tools to prepare the screen before application, the listing describes the installation as bubble-free, but a clean, careful fitting still matters.

The glossy, clear finish is the relevant choice for buyers who want the screen visible rather than a privacy or matte effect. If you are choosing between glass and a flexible film, consider the shape of the display and the type of protection you want: this product is specifically a tempered-glass option, not a flexible covering.

Usage tips

Before fitting, use the supplied wet wipe and microfibre cloth to clean the display, then use an anti-dust sticker to lift any remaining dust. Follow the included instructions and align the protector carefully before pressing it into place. The pack provides three protectors, so there is more than one attempt available, though no fitting outcome can be guaranteed from the included kit alone.

The product information notes that on a curved smartphone, only the horizontal surface is covered. Better avoided if full edge-to-edge coverage on a curved display is essential, that caveat is stated for curved phones generally, and the listing does not specify whether it applies to the CAT S62 Pro itself.

Final verdict

This is a focused purchase for CAT S62 Pro owners who want three clear, 0.3 mm tempered-glass protectors, plus basic cleaning and fitting accessories. Its stated strengths are the 9H hardness rating, oleophobic coating and touch-sensitive design, the listing does not provide independent test results, so treat protection claims as manufacturer specifications rather than a promise against breakage. Choose it over a flexible film if rigid glass is your preference, but look for a different format if flexible coverage is the priority.
