SmarTect Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPod touch 5G, 6G & 7G, 9H, 3-Pack
Product description
Quick sizing guide
The pack is listed for the iPod touch 5G, 6G and 7G, and the product details give dimensions of 11.9L x 5.5W centimetres and a screen size of 5.5 inches. Check that your device is one of those generations before choosing it, the listing also names iPod touch 2019. SmarTect notes that, on a curved device, the glass covers only the horizontal surface. That matters if you expect protection to reach around the edges rather than cover the flat screen area.
Why it makes sense
This is a three-piece set of glossy, 0.3 mm tempered glass, so there are spare protectors in the pack if one needs replacing. Its 9H hardness rating and the stated anti-scratch and shock-resistant features are aimed at everyday screen protection, while the ultra-clear finish is intended to preserve the display’s original appearance. An oleophobic coating is also specified to help resist fingerprints, dirt and grease marks. These are useful considerations for an iPod touch carried loose in a bag or pocket, where the screen may meet keys or other everyday items.
Compared with a flexible film, tempered glass is the more rigid option here, the supplied product information describes TPU as more suitable for curved displays and basic protection under light use. It’s a good fit if you want a clear glass layer for one of the listed iPod touch generations and would value spare pieces in the same pack. Not the best choice if you need the protector to cover the curved edges, as the stated coverage is limited to the horizontal surface on curved devices. Installation accessories are included, but the listing does not give a fitting time or guarantee a particular result for every application.

Questions before you buy
Does it fit every iPod touch? The stated compatibility covers the 5G, 6G and 7G models, with iPod touch 2019 also named. Match your device to that list before buying.
What comes in the pack? There are three glass protectors, three wet wipes, a microfiber cloth, two anti-dust stickers and an English instruction manual.
Does the glass cover curved edges? SmarTect says that on a curved device, only the horizontal surface is covered. If edge-to-edge coverage is important, this detail may affect your choice.
Is it worth it?
The practical case for this set is straightforward: it combines clear tempered glass, a 9H hardness rating and installation supplies, with two extra protectors beyond the one fitted initially. That makes it worth considering for someone who wants a glass screen layer for a compatible iPod touch and prefers a multi-piece pack to buying a single protector. The main trade-off is coverage on curved devices, not the number of protectors: the supplied information limits coverage to the horizontal surface. Choose it for the listed device generations and flat-screen coverage, look for a different style if you specifically need protection over curved edges.
