SmarTect TPU Screen Protector for Honor Magic 5 Lite, 2 Films and Camera Protectors

Made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), this flexible screen protector set is designed for the Honor Magic 5 Lite. The clear, glossy film is intended to cover the display while resisting scratches, fingerprints and dirt, and its flexibility is suited to curved screens. The package also includes two camera protectors, so it covers more than just the front display.

For everyday protection from light marks, it offers a different approach from a rigid tempered-glass protector. TPU flexes to follow the screen, tempered glass is the more relevant choice if drop and impact protection is your priority.

Best use cases

This set makes sense for someone who wants a clear film on an Honor Magic 5 Lite and a separate protector for its camera. The films are described as case-friendly, and the flexible material is designed to adapt to curved display edges. That can suit a phone used in a case where a rigid protector may not be the preferred fit.

It’s a good fit if you want to help guard against everyday scratches without adding a visibly different screen finish: the surface is glossy, and the film is described as ultra-clear. The stated anti-fingerprint feature and oleophobic coating are intended to reduce marks from handling, rather than change how the display looks or feels.

Why it makes sense

The contents are useful to consider before buying: there are two TPU screen films and two camera protectors, along with a positioning aid, wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, anti-dust stickers and instructions. Having a spare film may be handy if you need to replace one later, while the cleaning and fitting items are there to help with installation.

The manufacturer describes the film as bubble-free to apply with the included kit, and says its surface can self-heal small bubbles or scratches. Application still involves cleaning and careful positioning, so the kit helps with the process rather than removing the need to fit the film accurately. Better avoided if you want the stronger drop and impact protection associated with tempered glass: the supplied guidance presents TPU as basic protection for lighter stress.

Should you buy it?

Choose this SmarTect set if your main aim is a flexible, clear layer for the Honor Magic 5 Lite, with camera protection and fitting accessories included. It is a more suitable direction for a curved display and everyday scratch prevention than a rigid glass-style screen cover. If you prioritise protection from drops or impacts, the product information itself points towards tempered glass instead. The package is specific to the Honor Magic 5 Lite, so it is not a general-purpose screen protector for other phones.
