SmarTect Matte TPU Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, 2-Pack

Made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), this matte screen protector is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S21 FE 5G. The pack contains two films, so there is a spare if you need another application later.

Its matte finish is intended to reduce screen glare, while the surface coating helps resist fingerprints and dirt. The flexible film is also described as scratch-resistant and compatible with phone cases.

Installation accessories are included, and the film is designed to retain touch sensitivity. Small bubbles may take up to 48 hours to disappear after application, so the finish might not look completely settled straight away.

Best use cases

This is aimed at everyday screen protection where reducing reflections and visible fingerprints matters as much as guarding against light scratches. It may suit a Galaxy S21 FE used for reading, messaging or browsing in bright surroundings, particularly if you prefer a matte surface to a clear, glossy protector.

The two-film pack and positioning aid are practical if you want a spare on hand. It suits you if a flexible film and a case-friendly fit are priorities. The listed dimensions are 15.1L x 6.9W centimetres, and the compatible screen size is 6.5 inches.

Pros

The main advantages are the anti-glare finish, the claimed resistance to fingerprints and scratches, and the inclusion of two films. The installation kit contains a positioning aid, wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, dust-removal stickers and instructions, giving you the tools to clean and align the screen before fitting. The film is also described as bubble-free when installed correctly, with small bubbles expected to fade over time.

Touch sensitivity is listed as a feature. The manufacturer says the protector should not affect fingerprint sensing, though it notes that recalibration may occasionally be needed after application. That is useful context if unlocking with the sensor is part of your routine.

Key points

This is a TPU film rather than a tempered-glass protector. The manufacturer describes TPU as a flexible choice for curved displays and as basic protection under light stress, while tempered glass is the option it identifies for stronger protection against drops. In other words, this pack favours a flexible, matte surface over the more impact-focused approach of glass.

The self-healing surface is said to help small bubbles or scratches disappear, but the supplied information gives different timings: one product detail says 24 hours, while the manufacturer’s guidance says bubbles usually settle within 48 hours. Allowing up to 48 hours is the more cautious expectation. The claims relate to minor marks and bubbles, not protection from a hard impact.

Buying verdict

Choose this SmarTect pack if you want a matte TPU film for a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, value lower glare and fingerprint resistance, and would use the spare film or included fitting accessories. Its case-friendly design may also appeal if you want screen coverage without changing your case choice.

It may not suit you if drop protection is the main reason for buying a screen protector: the product information positions tempered glass as the stronger option for that kind of protection. For lighter everyday wear, the flexible film offers a more fitting approach, with the trade-off that installation and the settling time for small bubbles are part of the process.
