Bestier 15.7-Inch Wood Monitor Riser, Grey Desk Shelf, 10 kg Capacity

Why it’s worth it

At 39.9 x 24.9 x 7.9 centimetres, this grey wooden riser adds a raised shelf to a desk without taking the form of a full monitor arm or larger workstation unit. It is listed for monitors, PCs, laptops and TVs, and can also serve as a simple desk organiser. The stated load capacity is 10 kg. Its straightforward format suits a setup where a shelf is more useful than an adjustable screen support.

Placing a monitor directly on the desk keeps the setup simple, but does not provide the extra raised surface this stand offers. The Bestier may be a good fit if you want one compact platform for a screen or laptop and prefer a fixed shelf-style design. There is no height adjustment listed, so anyone who needs to alter screen height regularly may prefer a product that explicitly offers that feature.

Key features

The rectangular stand is made from wood and has a polished finish. Its listed weight is 1 Kilograms, and assembly is required, the product information says a clear instruction manual is included. The maker also states that the material meets US CARB P2 standards and describes it as waterproof and anti-scratching. Those are product claims rather than independent assessments, so they may matter most to buyers comparing the stated finish and material with other desk risers.

The shelf can be used with a monitor or laptop, or as a place to organise desk items. For example, it could raise a laptop on a home-working desk while giving the work surface a more defined screen area. Buyers describe the stand as easy to assemble and sturdy, and some say it holds their monitor’s weight. These are customer impressions, the listed load capacity remains the clearest guide when assessing whether it suits a particular setup.

Who it’s for

This is aimed at someone who wants a simple wooden riser rather than a more adjustable or elaborate desk accessory. Its 39.9 x 24.9 centimetre footprint is a useful dimension to compare with the available desk space, while the 10 kg capacity gives a stated upper load limit to consider. It may also suit a laptop user who wants a raised shelf without choosing a monitor arm.

You may want to skip it if you need a riser with a listed height-adjustment feature or a stated capacity above 10 kg. Assembly is part of the setup, so it is not a ready-to-use stand straight from the box. Customer feedback is generally positive on assembly and sturdiness, but those comments do not replace checking the dimensions and load rating against your own equipment.

Questions before you buy

What is the stand made from? It is listed as wood, in grey, with a polished finish.

Does it need assembly? Yes. Assembly is required, and the product information says a clear instruction manual is provided.

How much weight can it hold? The listed load capacity is 10 kg. Compare that figure with the weight of the monitor or other equipment you plan to place on it.

Buying verdict

Choose the Bestier if a fixed wooden shelf is the kind of desk support you need, and its dimensions and 10 kg capacity suit your equipment. It offers more than simply leaving a monitor on the desk, while keeping the design simpler than an adjustable stand. If changing the screen height is central to your setup, look for a model with adjustment explicitly listed, within these limits, this riser’s appeal is its simple format and choice of monitor, laptop or organiser use.
