SmarTect Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Garmin Forerunner 235, 9H, 3-Pack
Product description
At 0.3 mm thick, this SmarTect protector is made from tempered glass for the Garmin Forerunner 235. Its glossy, ultra-clear finish is intended to preserve the display’s appearance while adding a layer against scratches and knocks. The pack includes three protectors, so there are spares if you need to reapply one later.

The main appeal is a glass surface with a stated 9H hardness rating, rather than a flexible film. The oleophobic coating is intended to reduce fingerprints, dirt and grease marks, while the clear finish is designed not to obscure the display. These details make it a practical accessory for everyday wear, when a watch face may brush against clothing, keys or other objects. A hardness rating is not a promise that the screen cannot be damaged, so it is best viewed as an added layer of protection rather than a guarantee against breakage.
Who it’s for
This is aimed at Garmin Forerunner 235 owners who want a separate screen protector and prefer glass to a flexible TPU film. It may suit someone who uses the watch regularly and would rather have spare protectors available than buy a single replacement each time. Buyers describe the fit positively and also find installation straightforward, those impressions can help set expectations, but they do not guarantee the same result on every application.
The product information specifies that, on a curved device, the protector covers only the horizontal surface. That is an important distinction if you expect protection to extend around curved edges. It’s not for you if full coverage over those curves is essential. A flexible film is another approach for curved displays, while this pack focuses on a tempered-glass surface for the stated watch model.
Included in the pack
The pack contains three screen protectors, three wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual in English. The cleaning and dust-removal accessories are intended to prepare the display before fitting, and the instructions offer guidance for installation. The glass is described as bubble-free when applied with the supplied kit, but the final result still depends on careful cleaning and placement.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you own a Garmin Forerunner 235, want a glossy tempered-glass protector and value having more than one in the pack. For a typical routine, you could fit one before daily wear and keep the remaining protectors as replacements. Its clear finish and stated touch sensitivity are relevant if you want to keep using the watch display normally while adding a protective layer.
The choice comes down to coverage and material: this is a glass protector for the flat horizontal display area, not a flexible wrap for curved edges. If that coverage suits your watch and you prefer glass over a basic film, the three-piece pack includes the cleaning accessories needed for fitting. If you need the protector to cover curved surfaces as well, the stated coverage is a reason to consider a different format.
