Barbie HXN01 Pyjamas Party Puppies Doll Set with Colour-Changing Muzzle

Choosing a doll for outfit play is one kind of fun, a sleepover set adds a shared story to act out. Barbie HXN01 brings the puppies along for an evening of bedtime role-play.

The set includes Barbie, two puppy figures and more than 10 accessories, with a sleeping bag sized to fit all three characters together.

For children who enjoy hands-on play, the puppies’ colour-changing muzzle adds a simple water-based activity to the story. The set is recommended for ages 3 and up.

Worth noting

The colour-change feature gives the sleepover a playful popcorn-time moment. Use the popcorn-bowl-shaped sponge with very cold water to change a puppy’s muzzle so it looks buttery, then use the towel with warm water to clean it again. Children can repeat the change as they continue the game.

Barbie wears a nightgown and slippers, while the accessories help build a familiar bedtime routine: there is a teddy bear figure, a book, three toothbrushes and three eye masks. The sleeping bag brings Barbie and both puppies together in one cosy scene. With several characters and small props to arrange, children can make up different roles and bedtime stories rather than focusing on a single doll alone.

Buyers describe the set as cute and fun to play with, highlighting its appearance and playability. That fits its mix of character play, bedtime accessories and a repeatable colour-change activity.

Best use cases

This set suits indoor imaginative play, whether a child is staging a sleepover at home, making up a story with a friend or creating a bedtime scene on a tabletop. The familiar details—getting ready for bed, reading and settling down together—give children an easy starting point for their own stories.

Compared with a simpler doll set focused mainly on dressing one character, this option is centred on a group scene: Barbie, two puppies and accessories for sharing the sleepover. It makes sense if the child enjoys animal characters and likes having several parts to move and use during play.

Getting the most from it

Start with the cold-water colour change, then use warm water and the towel to return the puppy’s muzzle to its clean look. This creates a clear before-and-after moment that can be brought into the story whenever the children want to revisit the popcorn idea. Keep the water activity together with the accessories, then move on to brushing teeth, choosing eye masks, reading and settling the three characters into the sleeping bag.

No assembly is required, and the set is manually operated, so imaginative play can begin with arranging the figures and accessories. The different props also make it easy to share out roles: one child can get Barbie ready while another looks after the puppies or sets up their bedtime scene.

When it makes sense

Barbie HXN01 is a fitting choice for a child aged 3 or over who enjoys puppies, doll play and familiar bedtime routines. Its strongest appeal is the combination of three characters, sleepover accessories and a repeatable colour-changing feature, giving children several ways to build a story around one playful evening.
