Barbie HRG88 Careers Soccer Player Playset with 2 Dolls and 15 Accessories

Two footballer dolls and a set of match-day accessories give children plenty to build a Barbie football story around. The playset includes goals, footballs and cones for setting up a match. Bottles, snacks, medals, a trophy and sports bags add details for the moments before and after play.

Practical tips

Set up the two goals and footballs to create a match, then use the cones as part of the play scene. Both dolls wear football kits with jerseys, shorts, socks and trainers, so children can move straight into team play and invent their own characters, roles and scorelines. The included medals and trophy offer an easy way to bring a tournament or celebratory finish into the story.

For a fuller match-day scene, add the bottles, snacks and sports bags around the play area. Children can imagine the dolls getting ready, taking a break or celebrating after a game, then change the story whenever they like. With two dolls in the set, play can centre on a shared match rather than dressing or staging a single character. It is intended for children aged three and up, and suits imaginative play with Barbie alongside football-themed storytelling.

Why it’s worth it

This set brings football and Barbie role play together, with the equipment to stage a match and small extras to carry the story beyond the pitch. The two goals and footballs make the sporting theme clear, while cones, bags, medals and a trophy give children different ways to organise their play. It offers a more complete match scenario than a set focused on a single doll or outfit, and the two footballer dolls make it natural to imagine a game between teammates or rivals.

Buyers often praise the accessories and the enjoyment of playing with the football theme. Some also highlight that the dolls can take part in the match play, which fits the set’s combination of football equipment and dressed footballer characters. These are impressions of the play experience, while the included pieces provide the practical foundation for making up stories.

Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you’re choosing a football-themed Barbie set for a child who enjoys making up games, dressing characters and building stories around sport. The two dolls give the play a shared focus, while the goals, balls and match-day accessories help turn a simple doll scene into a football story with its own build-up and finish. It brings imaginative play and a recognisable team sport together in one set.
