Wizarding World 6067358 Magical Minis Advent Calendar with 24 Gifts

Some festive countdowns are mainly about opening a door each day, others give children pieces to play with once the countdown is over. The Wizarding World Magical Minis Advent Calendar combines both: 24 surprises lead to Harry, Hermione and Ron figures, accessories and a Hogwarts setting for imaginative play.

The first door reveals a UV light-up wand. Shine it over the common-room scenes to find hidden calendar numbers, then uncover a new gift each day. The three exclusive figures measure 7.6 cm, and the accessories include festive jumpers, the Sorting Hat, an Invisibility Cloak and more. Once everything has been revealed, the front panel folds out for pretend play, or the toys can be displayed against the festive Hogwarts backdrop.

The calendar suits children who enjoy a daily reveal as well as character play afterwards. Compared with choosing a single figure, it brings several characters and themed accessories together in a countdown format. Would the hidden-number wand make each day's discovery feel more like a little Hogwarts adventure? It adds a playful search to the usual door-opening routine, while the figures and accessories keep the calendar useful beyond the festive countdown.

Tips for day-to-day use

Open the first door to find the UV wand, then shine it over the common rooms to locate the remaining numbers. The wand uses three LR44 batteries, which are included. Each surprise can be introduced as its door is opened, with the growing collection ready for imaginative scenes using the fold-out panel. The “H” and “R” festive jumpers, Hermione's scarf, Hedwig, the Sorting Hat and the Invisibility Cloak give children familiar details to bring into their own Wizarding World stories.

After the countdown, the festive backdrop offers a ready-made display for the figures, while folding out the front panel creates a play setting. Customers particularly enjoy the daily wand-led search and the selection of prizes, feedback on the wand feature is mixed. That combination of collectible figures, themed accessories and a play backdrop makes it more than a calendar designed only for the run-up to the festive season.

In the box

The set contains one wand, three figures, 23 accessories and an instruction sheet. The three Magical Minis figures are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The accessories include festive clothing and recognisable Wizarding World pieces, so the surprises can be used together for display or pretend play once opened. Three LR44 batteries are included for the UV light-up wand.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a festive gift that offers a daily surprise and then becomes part of a child's play collection. The appeal is in the combination: an interactive wand reveal, three character figures, 23 accessories and a Hogwarts-themed scene for play or display. For a young Harry Potter fan aged 6 or over, it turns the countdown into a series of small discoveries and leaves them with a themed set to enjoy afterwards.
