PIRATIX Adventure World Skull Blade Pirate Ship with Hidden Swords and Projectile

Hidden side swords and a firing projectile turn the PIRATIX Skull Blade into an action-led pirate ship, giving children several ways to bring a seafaring story to life. The exclusive treasure activates its hidden powers, while the Golden Captain Drake Dagger figure and accessories help set the scene for imaginative play.

Made from plastic and designed for manual play, this multicoloured boat needs no batteries or assembly. It is recommended for children aged 3 years and up, so play can get underway with the included pieces.

Worth noting

The Skull Blade’s defining feature is its treasure-activated action: use the exclusive medallion to reveal two side swords, then fire the projectile as part of a pirate encounter. These moving parts give children actions to build into their own stories, rather than relying on the ship’s appearance alone. What will the crew discover on its next voyage? A treasure hunt, a ship-to-ship challenge or a rescue mission can all start with the same set.

The set includes the pirate ship, an exclusive Piratix figure, an accessory, a flag, an exclusive treasure and a projectile. The featured captain is Golden Captain Drake Dagger. Together, the figure and ship provide a clear starting point for solo storytelling or shared play, while the hidden-power feature adds a simple cause-and-effect element to each adventure. Children can decide when to reveal the swords, when to fire and how the treasure fits into the story, supporting imaginative play and problem-solving.

Size & fit

The ship measures 17.6 x 6.8 x 13.5 cm, making its dimensions easy to consider when choosing a place for play or storage. Its boat form suits pirate adventures built around sailing, boarding and searching for treasure. As it operates manually and requires no assembly, children can move straight into play using the ship and its included pieces.

Who it’s for

This set is suited to children aged 3 years and up who enjoy pirate characters, boats and hands-on action. It works well for a child who likes to invent a scene as much as to act it out: Drake Dagger can lead the crew, the treasure can trigger the ship’s powers, and the swords and projectile give the story a clear moment of action. The included figure and accessories also make it a ready-made play setup, rather than a ship that depends on a separate character to give it context.

For families choosing between a simple boat for open-ended play and a character-led pirate set with interactive features, Skull Blade brings both together in one ship. Its manual operation keeps the play direct, while the hidden swords and projectile offer specific details around which a new adventure can form. It can also sit naturally within a wider Piratix collection for children already building a pirate world.

Final verdict

PIRATIX Adventure World Skull Blade is a practical choice for pirate-themed play with a defined character, treasure and shipboard actions. The treasure-activated swords, firing projectile and included Golden Captain Drake Dagger give children concrete prompts for creating their own voyages, making it especially well suited to imaginative play centred on pirate missions and discovery.
