Sylvanian Families 5744 Adventure Nursery Bus Rainbow Playset with Slide and Swing

For children aged three and over who enjoy creating stories with Sylvanian Families baby figures, this colourful nursery bus turns a vehicle into a place to play. Its three-storey design has space for up to 28 baby figures. Open it out to create a larger play area, with activities for little characters to enjoy together.

Highlights

The Adventure Nursery Bus Rainbow combines a bus with a nursery play space, giving children more than one setting for imaginative play. It is suitable for the Sylvanian Families Baby series, so children can bring familiar figures along on an outing and invent their own adventures. The bus opens up into a play area with a slide, rocker, carousel and swing, while the pushchair adds another way to include the babies in the story. The roof offers a higher viewpoint for figures to look out over their imagined surroundings.

Rather than centring the play on a single activity, the set brings several play features together in one themed vehicle. Children can move between the different activities, make up roles for the figures and change the story as they play. The bus is multicoloured and made from PVC, with dimensions of 13.5 x 30 x 16.5 centimetres, making its overall shape easy to picture when choosing a place for play or storage.

Everyday use

This set suits story-led play at home, whether a child is taking the nursery group on an imagined trip or setting up a day of activities for the baby figures. The opening bus creates room for play inside and around the vehicle, while the slide, rocker, carousel and swing give children different prompts for each scene. The pushchair can be used as part of an outing, and the roof provides another spot for figures in the story.

With room for up to 28 baby figures, the bus can support a larger group scene as well as play with a smaller number of characters. The figures are sold separately, so it can be paired with baby figures a child already has or added to a Sylvanian Families collection over time. Its animal theme and nursery setting make it a natural fit for children who like caring for characters and making up journeys and shared activities.

Practical tips

Open the bus to make use of its play area, then arrange the baby figures around the features to set up a nursery adventure. A child can choose one activity for each character, or make the bus part of a longer story that moves from the inside to the roof. For an easy change of scene, start with a journey and let the figures explore the play features once the bus has opened.

The set is intended for children aged three and over and contains small parts, so it is not suitable for children under three. Its 810-gram weight and listed dimensions can help when planning where to keep it between play sessions.
