Fisher-Price Imaginext JFJ65 T. Rex Action Figure with Button-Activated Lunge

The button-activated head lunge gives this Fisher-Price Imaginext T. rex an interactive part in Jurassic World: Rebirth play. Press the button to set the dinosaur in motion, giving small hands an easy way to bring imagined battles and new stories to life.

Its soft, real-feel head and neck add a tactile detail to play. The figure is designed for children aged 3 years and up.

On-body feel

The T. rex has a soft head and neck with real-feel skin, adding a different texture for children to explore as they play. Its 8-inch size is easy for little hands to hold and move between scenes, whether the dinosaur is stomping across the floor or joining other toys in an imagined Jurassic World adventure. The figure is made from plastic, with the softer tactile detail focused on its head and neck.

What you’ll notice day to day

A press of the button makes the T. rex lunge its head, so the action is simple to trigger during play. That clear cause-and-effect movement gives children a hands-on way to act out a dinosaur encounter, while pressing the button also encourages fine-motor skills. The action is manual, and the figure needs no assembly or batteries, keeping it ready for play without a separate setup routine.

The movie-inspired design makes it easy to place the dinosaur in scenes from Jurassic World: Rebirth or invent a different story around it. For floor play, children can move the figure through a homemade landscape, then use the lunge to add a moment of action. Buyers often praise its appeal to young dinosaur fans and describe it as holding up well during enthusiastic play, these are individual impressions rather than a guarantee of durability.

When it makes sense

Choose this figure for hands-on dinosaur play where a simple movement feature matters as much as the character design. Compared with a static dinosaur figure, the button-triggered lunge gives children an action to build into their stories, while the tactile head and neck offer another point of interest. It suits independent play as well as shared storytelling, and its Jurassic World: Rebirth inspiration gives fans a familiar starting point for recreating film-style scenes. It is intended for children aged 3 years and up, small parts can be created, so it is not suitable for children under 36 months.
