It Chapter Two 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital, 3-Disc Set

If you’re looking for the next chapter after IT, this edition brings the story back to Derry, where the characters reunite as adults nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

The three-disc set combines 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital formats, giving you different ways to enjoy the film as part of your collection or movie night.

Directed by Andy Muschietti, IT Chapter Two stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader. Its horror, mystery and suspense blend suits a feature-length evening at home.

Getting the most from it

The film follows the characters after they have gone their separate ways, then brings them back together when evil returns to Derry. That continuation makes it a natural addition for viewers following the story from the first film, while the adult cast gives this chapter its own perspective on the group’s reunion.

At 2 hours and 49 minutes, it is a substantial movie-night choice. Set aside time to follow the story without rushing, especially if you’re planning to watch it alongside the earlier film. The horror and suspense elements make it suited to viewers seeking a darker, atmospheric feature rather than a short, casual watch.

Strengths

This edition brings together 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital in one three-disc package. That combination is useful if you’re choosing between a physical copy for your movie collection and a digital format for viewing, the set offers both approaches without making the film’s story depend on a single format. The English-language presentation and listed runtime also make it easy to plan a viewing session.

The premise centres on a reunion in Derry, with the characters returning as adults nearly three decades after the first film’s events. Andy Muschietti directs a cast that includes James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa and Bill Skarsgård. Together, the returning story and adult ensemble give fans of the first chapter a clear reason to continue with the characters’ journey.

Buyers describe the film as an enjoyable, scary follow-up and praise its story and ending. Some also feel that the 2-hour-and-49-minute runtime runs long, so it may be best approached as a dedicated feature rather than a quick watch. It suits you if you enjoy horror with mystery and suspense, and want to see the story move forward with the characters as adults.

What matters most

The main choice here is format and viewing style. A digital-only film is a straightforward fit for someone who wants a library-based option, this three-disc edition also includes 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray alongside Digital, bringing the physical and digital formats together. Choose it for the combination, as well as for the film itself, rather than treating it as a standalone technical upgrade.

Its 4K Ultra HD format is the defining feature of the edition, while the included Blu-ray and Digital formats provide additional ways to watch. The package is listed as three discs, and the film runs for 2 hours and 49 minutes. Its genre classification—horror, mystery and suspense—helps set expectations for a tense, extended viewing experience.

Is it worth it?

For viewers who want to continue IT’s story and keep the sequel in a multi-format collection, this edition brings together the adult reunion in Derry with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital. It is particularly well suited to fans of the first film and to horror viewers who are ready to make room for a full-length, suspense-led movie night.
