Def Leppard Diamond Star Heroes: Live From Sheffield Blu-ray + 2 CDs
Product description
If you want the atmosphere of a stadium concert and music you can return to away from the screen, Diamond Star Heroes: Live From Sheffield brings both formats together. Def Leppard performed this homecoming show at Bramall Lane on May 22, 2023, in the band’s home city.
The set pairs a concert Blu-ray with two CDs and an 8-page booklet in a Digipak. Want a release that works for concert viewing as well as listening to the music on its own? This collection covers both.
The show opened the band’s European tour and marked their second-ever stadium concert in Sheffield, 47 years after Def Leppard began. The performance was played to a sold-out crowd of almost 40,000 fans.

Usage tips
Use the Blu-ray to watch the Sheffield concert, then turn to the CDs when you want to listen to the performance without watching. Keeping the formats together makes it easy to choose between a full concert session and an audio-focused listen, whether you’re revisiting the set list or spending time with these tracks between viewings.
The track selection brings familiar songs together with live debuts, so the release offers more than a run-through of well-known hits. “This Guitar” also adds a tribute to Steve Clark, making the concert meaningful for listeners who value the band’s history as well as the live performance. The booklet and Digipak complete the physical set for fans who enjoy keeping a concert release as part of their music collection.
In the box
The Digipak set includes the Blu-ray, two CDs and an 8-page booklet. That combination gives you the concert on Blu-ray and the music across two CDs, all gathered in one release. The booklet is a useful part of the physical package, while the two audio discs make it straightforward to return to the set without putting on the concert video.
Should you buy it?
This release suits Def Leppard fans who want a homecoming concert rather than an audio-only collection, while still valuing CDs for listening away from the screen. Its Sheffield setting, stadium performance and mix of classic tracks with UK live debuts give the set a clear identity. Buyers speak positively about the music and live presentation, with some also praising the sound, those comments reflect individual listening impressions, not a guarantee of a particular experience.
A solid pick if you want one Def Leppard release that brings the concert and its music together, with a tribute to Steve Clark and an 8-page booklet included in the Digipak.
