Ghostbusters: Afterlife / Frozen Empire 2-Disc Bilingual DVD Set

Some movie nights call for one story, others are better suited to a two-film feature. This bilingual DVD set brings Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire together across two discs. It gives fans both titles in one collection. Frozen Empire brings the Spengler family back to New York City, alongside the original Ghostbusters.

Usage tips

Choose this set when you want both films available for a longer movie night or to add the two titles to a Ghostbusters collection. The DVD format makes it a straightforward choice for viewing on a DVD player, while the two-disc format keeps the films organized as a double feature. The listed total runtime is 3 hours and 59 minutes, which can help when planning viewing time.

The bilingual edition is a practical fit for a household that wants a bilingual release. Subtitles are listed in English, French, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Thai. For a relaxed evening, start with Ghostbusters: Afterlife and continue with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, or choose either title according to what suits the occasion.

Where it shines

The two-film format is the main draw: instead of choosing a single title for movie night, you have both Afterlife and Frozen Empire in one DVD set. It also suits collectors who want these films together on disc, and makes it easy to keep the pair in one place for future viewing.

Frozen Empire offers a clear story hook for fans of the franchise. An ancient artefact unleashes an army of ghosts and threatens New York City with a deathly chill. The Spengler family returns to the iconic firehouse and teams up with the original Ghostbusters, who have developed a research lab to take ghost-busting further. That mix of new and familiar characters gives the film a distinct appeal within the set.

What matters most

This is a two-disc DVD release featuring Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, presented as a bilingual edition. The Canadian home video rating is Parental Guidance (PG). Together, these details make the set easy to assess for a planned family movie night, a franchise-focused collection or a gift for someone who enjoys Ghostbusters.

The choice between this set and buying one film comes down to how you plan to watch and collect. A single title keeps the selection focused, this set brings two Ghostbusters films together, offering more than one story to choose from without building the collection title by title. Frozen Empire’s return to New York and reunion of the Spengler family with the original team provides a particular reason to include both films in the same viewing rotation.

Buying verdict

For Ghostbusters fans who want Afterlife and Frozen Empire together on DVD, this two-disc bilingual set is a practical way to keep both films ready for a double feature or separate movie nights. Its strongest appeal is the combination of two franchise titles, with Frozen Empire pairing the Spengler family and the original Ghostbusters in a New York City ghost-fighting story.
