Warner Bros. 883929820597 Death in Paradise: Season Thirteen DVD
Product description
Settle in for an evening of island-set crime solving with Death in Paradise: Season Thirteen. DI Neville Parker and his team return to Saint Marie for a new run of murder mysteries with a light touch and a warm-hearted feel.
This DVD-Video collection brings the season together across three discs, with a total runtime of 7 hours and 20 minutes. The English-language presentation makes it easy to follow the team’s investigations and the personal stories unfolding alongside them.
The season includes the series’ 100th episode, in which Selwyn marks 50 years of police service and faces a surprising enemy. Marlon considers his future, Naomi lets loose, and a friend from Catherine’s past becomes a murder suspect.
What matters most
The appeal here is the mix of a fresh case to follow and familiar characters whose lives keep moving between investigations. The idyllic Saint Marie setting gives the mysteries a distinctive backdrop, while Neville and the team provide a continuing thread across the season. New and returning faces add to the island’s changing dynamics, and Neville’s possibility of opening up to love gives the story another personal angle.
With three discs and more than seven hours of viewing, this is a season collection for viewers who want several mysteries ready to watch at home. It offers a different kind of viewing choice from a standalone film: a longer return to one detective team and its setting, spread across the season’s stories.
How to use it
Play the DVD-Video on a player that supports NTSC DVDs, then settle in for an episode or a longer stretch of viewing. The season’s 7 hours and 20 minutes can be enjoyed over multiple sessions, making it easy to fit a case into an evening or continue through the investigations when you have more time. The English-language audio keeps the dialogue and character exchanges at the centre of the experience.
Usage tips
For a relaxed viewing night, start from the beginning and follow Neville and the team as the season’s cases and character developments unfold. The collection’s three-disc format lets you keep the season together as a physical set, rather than choosing a single story for one sitting. If you are watching with someone who enjoys mysteries as much as character-led drama, the investigations and the team’s changing personal circumstances give you both elements to follow.
