Toner Kingdom TN830XL Black Toner Cartridges

If you print regularly, a two-cartridge pack can be more convenient than buying a single replacement each time. The Toner Kingdom TN830XL set is a black-toner option for listed Brother printers, with a stated yield that may appeal to homes or small offices handling recurring document jobs. It focuses on text and everyday print output rather than offering a color-toner set.

The pack includes two cartridges and a user guide. Its main buying consideration is matching the cartridge family to your exact printer model.

Technical details

This is a two-pack of black replacement toner cartridges identified as TN830XL and TN830. The listing states a yield of up to 3,000 pages per TN830XL cartridge, or more than 6,000 pages for the pack, based on 5% page coverage. Treat that figure as a reference for relatively light coverage: documents with large areas of solid black or dense graphics can use toner more quickly.

The manufacturer describes the cartridges as using a smart chip for printer recognition and says they are intended to produce clear text, graphics, and photos. Those are product claims, not a guarantee that every print job will look the same. If your main need is color printing, this set is not a substitute for color cartridges, both cartridges in the pack are black.

Compatibility & requirements

The listed compatible models are Brother HL-L2460DW, HL-L2405W, HL-L2400D, HL-L2420DW, HL-L2460DWXL, HL-L2465DW, HL-L2467DW, HL-L2865DW, HL-L2480DW, DCP-L2640DW, DCP-L2647DW, MFC-L2820DW, MFC-L2760DW, MFC-L2807DW, MFC-L2820DWXL, MFC-L2900DW, MFC-2900DWXL, and MFC-L2980DW. The product name also references TN830XL and TN830/XL/V/R replacements. Match your printer’s model number and the toner designation before ordering, a similar-looking printer name alone is not enough to establish compatibility.

Usage tips

For a desk that handles invoices, school paperwork, or several pages of correspondence at a time, having a second black cartridge on hand can reduce the chance of running out between routine print jobs. It suits you if your printer is one of the listed models and you want two black replacements in one pack. The stated page yield is based on 5% coverage, so frequent printing of dark graphics or heavily filled pages may mean replacing a cartridge sooner than that estimate suggests.

The smart chip is intended to support printer recognition, but the listing does not provide installation steps or explain how recognition issues are handled. Keep the user guide with the cartridges and use your printer’s model information when confirming the match. Compared with buying one cartridge at a time, this pack prioritizes having a spare ready, a single replacement may make more sense if you print only occasionally and do not need another cartridge stored.

Questions before you buy

What comes in the package? Two black toner cartridges and one user guide.

How is the stated page yield calculated? The listing gives up to 3,000 pages per TN830XL cartridge at 5% page coverage, and more than 6,000 pages for the two-pack.

Is this a color toner set? No. The package contains two black toner cartridges. Not the best choice if you need replacement toner in multiple colors.

Buying verdict

This Toner Kingdom pack is worth considering when you have a listed Brother model, use black toner regularly, and would rather keep a second cartridge available than purchase replacements one at a time. The practical trade-off is that its headline yield depends on light page coverage, while compatibility needs to be confirmed against the exact printer model. Choose it for recurring monochrome document printing, skip it if you need color toner or your printer is not on the compatibility list.
