Hompet Cat Litter Mat, 2-Pack, 18x28, Waterproof and Machine-Washable
Product description
Set these mats around a litter box to catch loose litter and help protect the floor from spills. Each 18x28-inch mat provides a defined cleanup zone for smaller litter areas without taking up too much room.
The textured surface helps lift litter from your cat’s paws, and debris stays near the surface for easy shaking off. A soft quilted top and non-slip backing make the mat comfortable underfoot and help it stay put on tile, wood, or laminate.
Need a mat that handles more than tracking? Its absorbent core and waterproof barrier also help keep moisture from reaching the floor, while the two-pack makes it easier to rotate mats during washing.
On-body feel
The quilted polyester surface is soft against sensitive paws, giving cats a comfortable place to step as they leave the litter box. Its textured finish helps collect loose litter without trapping it deep in grooves or a honeycomb pattern. That means you can shake debris off the surface before washing, keeping routine cleanup straightforward.
An anti-slip backing grips tile, wood, and laminate floors to help the mat stay in position around the box. The compact size suits a smaller litter station or a home where a full-room rug would take up more space than needed. If the mat has folds from packaging, regular use helps them relax over a few days, washing it before first use can also help it lie flat sooner.
Where it shines
The four-layer construction combines a soft top, an absorbent core, and a waterproof barrier. Together, these layers help contain tracked litter and absorb moisture from litter box misses, while the barrier helps keep liquid from seeping through to the floor. The core also helps lock in moisture and reduce odors.
For a quick daily refresh, shake loose litter from the surface. When it needs a deeper clean, the mat is machine washable and reusable. The set includes two mats, so one can be in use while the other is being washed. The product is designed to handle 300+ washes.
A surface that releases debris when shaken offers a different cleanup approach from mats that hold litter deep in grooves. The same mats can also serve as a feeding mat, crate liner, or pet resting area, making the pair useful beyond the litter station. What makes the format practical for a smaller space? It creates a dedicated spot for litter and moisture without a bulky footprint.
